Lubricant gap shape optimization of the hydrodynamic thrust bearing using artificial neural networks

The thesis deals with the description of the main parts of the turbocharger and explains the concept of optimization. Furthermore, the work deals with the description of the flow of real fluids and lubrication of the hydrodynamic bearing. The work deals with the creation of a computational model, metamodel and subsequent search for a global extreme. In particular, the neural network metamodel technique is used in metamodel formation.
Conception of a horizontal wood splitting device - additional tractor equipment

Suggestion of a car workshop lift

The theme of this bachelor thesis concerns vehicle lifting equipment. The opening section presents a comprehensive categorization of commonly supplied equipment according to its design. The main section deals with a design proposal for the author’s equipment. This includes functional and strength calculations, material choice and dimensions of the individual elements. The final section of the paper contains a composite drawing and a technical documentation of the selected components.
Handling equipment for the pallets

The bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of the handling device for moving EUR pallets on a flat storage area and possible stacking of these pallets. The introduction of the thesis is a research analysis of current manipulators on the market with similar parameters as in the assignment. Subsequent chapters deal with conceptual design, strength calculation of selected elements and choice of components. The drawing documentation is documented for the bachelor thesis.
Shape Optimization of the Machine Components due to Variability of Input Data

The objective of this Master’s thesis is to find shape optimal design based on min- imizing friction force of thrust bearing by using genetic algorithm(GA) which is one of an optimization toolbox in Matlab. Reducing the friction force of thrust bearing is one way of making shaft to decreasing friction losses. With four parameters of thrust bearing geometry number of segments(m), angle of running surface(), segment inner radius(R0), and segment outer radius(R1) substitute in Reynolds’ equation. In order to know friction force, it is necessary to generate a connecting variable, oil film thickness(h0) from loading capacity(W ) and revolution per minute(rpm). Friction power loss, as well as weight func- tion conclude the final shape optimization of thrust bearing: m = 7, = 0.1, R0 = 15 mm, and R1 = 20 mm.

The aim of my diploma thesis was to optimize the gap shape of a turbocharger thrust (axial) bearing using the metamodeling. In its first part, the thesis focuses on introduction of optimization and metamodeling, description of different metamodeling techniques and description of a turbocharger with focus on lubrication of thrust bearing. The second part contains a calculation model of flow through the lubrication gap, use of the techniques for compiling a metamodel and the evaluation of individual techniques. Specifically, the methods used are response surfaces and kriging.
Belt conveyor for food corn

The aim of this thesis is to design an angled belt conveyor for transportation of food corn with the capacity of 65,000 kg per hour and axial distance between the drums at both ends of 20 meters and height difference of 6 meters. The thesis includes brief descriptions of individual parts of the conveyor, functional calculation, which is performed according to the current standard ISO 5048, determination of basic dimensions, design of the drive and tensioning device of the conveyor. In its nal part, the thesis contains an analysis of the characteristics of transported material. The thesis is accompanied by all the necessary technical drawings.

Criminal proceedings against law entities Summary The Act no. 418/2011 Coll., Act on Criminal Liability of Legal Entities and Proceedings Against Them came into force on 1st January 2012. Up until that point the legal entities could not have been prosecuted for crimes, because we had only personal liability in our country. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to research the procedural part of Act no. 418/2011 Coll., the criminal liability of legal entities and proceedings against them in more detailed way, especially discuss the specific differences in criminal procedure against legal entities, which differ from the general provisions in criminal procedure against natural persons. These specific differences contain provisions of provisional and protective measures, acts of legal entities, defense of legal entities and specific executions of punishments, which can be inflicted only to legal entities. This thesis mentions legal acts of international law, legal acts of European Union law and legal acts of national law. Moreover, the thesis contains references to articles and publications by notorious Czech criminal law experts, who research the problematics of the criminal responsibility of legal entities.
