Determining the best cutting tool for reaming the piston hole in Bosch Diesel company
Rauscher, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to increase cost savings on cutting tools, which are used to ream piston hole inside the housing of CP3 diesel pump made by Bosch Diesel s. r. o. Diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical description of the issue, which is initial knowledge for machining tests, and experimental part, whose task it is to find a suitable reamer for this technological operation. Cost savings will be achieved by selecting suitable tool instead of the serial tool that has been used so far.
Sewing machine part manufacturing process
Švec, Michal ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focused on the production of a gear which is part of the sewing machine. In the first part is the gear wheel analyzed, including the description of his function. There is also a selection of the semi-product is described, including the calculation of the required amount of material. The following section describes the machines needed to manufacture the component, the tools which will be used during production and the technological process. In the next part is mentioned the system of spare parts in the company, the possibility of claiming or purchasing individual parts of sewing machines. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the technical and economic evaluation of the proposed production.
Factors affecting the quality of machined surfaces after milling operation
Černý, Libor ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the final quality of the surface under variable working conditions during milling. The first part deals with the definition of qualitative parameters describing surface properties. This is followed by a brief description of the cutting resistance measurements. The thesis is complemented by experimental verification using front milling and its evaluation. The aim of the experiment is to determine the dependence of the surface quality and the size of cutting resistors under the variable working conditions of the machine that do not make a common part of the manufacturing processes.
Analysis of wear on cutting edges during turning of main steels
Balíček, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the choice of suitable VBD for longitudinal turning barrel steel OCHN3MFA. In the theoretical part, serving as a basis for the experimental part, the technology of turning, tooling and coating methods was analyzed. In the experimental part, ten VBDs were tested, eight of which were of cemented carbide and two of ceramic. The monitored parameters were force load and tool wear VB. From the evaluated load data and tool wear, a suitable VBD for turning barrel steel was selected. The most suitable VBD for turning barrel steel is VBD – G. Tools VBD – I and VBD – J from ceramics are inappropriate tools for turning barrel steel.
Prediction of suitable cutting conditions for machining of main steels
Beneš, Ondřej ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
In this thesis is described machining of barrel steels and determination of the most suitable cutting conditions for this process. In the theoretical part was characterized cutting process and explained problems of VBD wear, chip formation and roughness of the surface. There were also explained most common cutting materials and in the last part were described CVD and PVD coating methods. In the experimental part was measured force load during turning. There was also tested eight carbide cutting inserts from SECO TOOLS. During the tests were measured additional surface roughness values and taken chip samples as well. From the evaluated load force data were determined optimized cutting conditions for machining barrel steels and most suitable type of cutting insert.
Application of modern 3D technologies for production of car key cover
Franc, Tadeáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a reconstruction of a car key cover by using modern 3D technologies. Computer model was created in Autodesk Inventor Proffesional and the component printed on the 3D printer uPrint Dimension. Printed component also served as a mother model for a mould made of silicon matter, which was afterwards used for casting a plastic component. The outcome of this thesis is a functional car key and a technical-economic evaluation of both of these methods.
Turning of main steels
Svoboda, Kryštof ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The main theme of the thesis deals with turning of main steels. The basic quantities, force load during turning and geometry of knife with splinter shape are explained in introduction part. Followed by brief overview of instrumental materials. For main steels there is perform an analysis of mechanical and physical properities, alloying elements and their application. In final part there is selection of several replaceable cutting inserts suitable for main steels.
Production of gear wheels with using dividing head
Cicha, Tereza ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to characterize the production of gear wheels with using dividing head and also to produce the gear wheel by this method. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains an overview of the machining methods for the production of gears and their characteristics. Theoretical chapters also contain a detailed description of the the production of gear wheels with using dividing head and materials used for the production of single gear tooth cutters. The aim of the practical part is to design, calculate and produce the gear wheel with using dividing head. The conclusion of the thesis is the overall summary and evaluation of the calculated data.
Depth drilling in geology
Kudrna, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on research of technologies and equipment of depth drilling in geology. This thesis contains description of methods used for borehole drilling. Furthermore, the description of common drill rigs is included. The thesis also deals with drilling tools and their working modes. Another part of the thesis is focused on the overall view of the borehole drilling process and its connection with ecology.
Cutting tools for deep drilling and their use in practice
Sedlář, Jiří ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with tools for drilling deep holes. The first part is focused on the basic description of the drilling process, sorting the tools according to their construction and last but not least, sorting of the systems used for deep drilling. In the theses is further elaborated an overview of materials for the production of cutting tools and ways of coating, which are used the most nowadays. There is a constant development in coating, because of the better mechanical, physical and chemical properties in this field. The last part is dedicated to the definition of the tools for deep drilling and their use in practice.
