The spas and sanatoria in Silesia (Czech part) from the 2nd half of the 19th century until the end of the 1930s Abstract The work is focused on the development and historical development of spas, spa resorts and sanatoria in Silesia in its Czech part, which used natural healing resources, favourable climatic conditions, baths, balneal treatment and resting mode. The object of interest is Gräfenberg Spa, later Gräfenberg-Frývaldov (today's Spa Jeseník), spa in Dolní Lipová, Sanatorium in Zlaté Hory, Spa Karlova Studánka, Jánské koupele (Mel ské koupele near Opava), spa in Darkov, small spa in Komorní Lhotka and pulmonary sanatorium in Jablunkov, which was right from the beginning a sanatorium for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. During the treatment, a considerable attention was paid to the use of the resting mode and of the favourable climatic environment. On this territory, we can see different conditions of the creation of individual spas and sanatoria. Namely, on the basis of the effects of natural resources, the Spa of Karlova Studánka, Jánské koupele and Darkov Spa was built, which used natural mineral waters. The sanatorium in Zlaté Hory, a spa resort in Komorní Lhotka and the pulmonary sanatorium in Jablunkov were established thanks to the effects of a favourable climate. The origin of the...
Primary prevention of vertebrogenic algic syndrome of dental hygienists by means of Computer Kinesiology system
Jeníková, Klára ; Jandová, Dobroslava (advisor) ; Honců, Pavla (referee)
This bachelor thesis was elaborated on the topic of primary prevention of vertebrogenic algic syndrome. The theoretical part provides basic background information necessary for introduction to the issue which the intervention study deals with in the practical part. Whereas the beginning of the thesis describes vertebrate algic syndrome and the Computer Kinesiology system, which was used for kinesiotherapy, the latter part outlines the professional workload of dental hygienists. The study was attended by three dental hygienists aged 23 to 25 with functional disorders of the motion system who have at least two years of practice at the position of dental hygienist. The results of the entrance and exit tests of the motion system, which were carried out in the form of kinesiological analysis by a physiotherapist and by means of the diagnostic part of the CK system, are listed in the technical part. The kinesiotherapy proposed by the therapeutic part of the CK system is also described. The kinesiotherapy itself was in progress for two months. The results are presented in the form of tables and graphs.
Changes in kinesiological analysis and diagnostical part of Computer Kinesiology as the Evidence-based medicine indicated therapy of active athletes with musculoskeletal system disorders
Pavluch, Lukáš ; Jandová, Dobroslava (advisor) ; Šrámek, Petr (referee)
Manifestation of functional disorders of the movement system has several diagnostic denominations in terms of diagnosis, namely the fixation of new non-economic motor stereotypes due to the formation of muscle imbalances, changes in postural load, increased demands on spinal biomechanics and joint system, the presence of reflective changes and also the chaining phenomenon. Long-term functional deficiency disrupts the motion strategy and is a risk for structural failure. For active athletes, the need to harmonize the movement system is essential. It is a prerequisite for improved performance, easier regeneration and adaptation of body to increased physical strain. Taking into account the different individual physical predispositions, the unequal demands on the movement system in individual disciplines, the need for long-term compensation is obvious. A group of five athletes of various sport disciplines was diagnosed by the CK system methodology and for a period of two months practiced a regularly designed set of exercises. In all monitored, the input values of the total dysfunction decreased, the number of reflex changes decreased, and the spine dynamics improved. Output data from Computer Kinesiology confirmed the final kinesiological analysis. The CK Expert System offers an effective, measurable diagnostic...
Therapy of functional disorders of the locomotor system in nurses by the Computer Kinesiology system
Kotalíková, Kristýna ; Jandová, Dobroslava (advisor) ; Honců, Pavla (referee)
The aim of this work is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the use of the diagnostic and the therapeutic part of Computer Kinesiology for secondary prevention of back pain of functional aetiology. In the theoretical part of work is dealed with problems of functional disorders, back pain of functional aetiology and the occurrence of these difficulties in nurses. Finally, work describes diagnostics and the therapy according to the CK. In the practical part of bachelor thesis is presented four case studies of selected nurses. The results of the examination according to CK system, the examination of breathing stereotype, posture, spinal mobility, usually shortened muscles and muscle groups, movement stereotypes and pain before and after the treatment are presented in tables and graphs. The results of this work confirmed hypothesis number one: After the CK therapy, the value of the total dysfunction verified by the CK results will be reduced to at least 3 out of 4 (75%) nurses. The reduction of total dysfunction has occurred in all patients. In addition, hypothesis number three was confirmed: Provided that the back pain of selected patients is caused by a functional disorder, reduction of total dysfunction will reduce the intensity, frequency, and duration of painful attacks. Hypothesis number two: After...
The development of differentiation in educational and economic level in municipalities of Středočeský kraj in the period 1980-2011 with focus on the impact of suburbanization
Jandová, Dominica ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Nemeškal, Jiří (referee)
The spatial differentiation of social and economic attributes is influenced by processes which take place on different measuring levels. Considering phenomena connected to the spatial distribution of population, undoubtedly the most important processes are those linked with urbanization. In the context of Středočeský kraj, the geographical organization is influenced by the dominant position of the capital city of Prague and especially by suburbanization in the last 25 years. The main aim is to describe spatial distribution of socioeconomical characteristics of the population represented by indicators of economic and educational level in Středočeský kraj and the development of this distribution in the period 1980-2011. The next aim of this thesis is to discover, whether there is a significant connection between the developments of economic and educational level, and then to determine the impact of suburbanization processes on those phenomena. The results show that there is a positive impact of suburbanization to the economic and educational level of municipalities in the background of Prague, even though the spatial patterns of characteristics representing these levels in the considered period of time have substantially different development. The results however also indicate, that in some sense there is a...
