Level of Aspiration and psychomotor tempo of squash players

Name: Level of Aspiration and psychomotor speed of squash players Aims: The aim of this thesis is to find out the differences between professional and performance squash players in the area of aspirations, psychomotor speed and resistance to stress. Further, to verify the hypothesis that professional players have a higher level of all these categories than performance players Methods: The thesis uses the quantitative questionnaire TATSO (2017), which is supplemented with a qualitative interview with trainers of squash professional players. Data are evaluated by statistical functions of Microsoft Excel and verified by f-test and T-test at 5% and 1% level of significance. Results: Research reveal statistically significant differences between professional and performance players at psychomotor speed and aspirations, while professional players showed significantly higher values, the results of this group proved above average even compared to the current test standards. The results of both groups were above average when tested for resistance to stress, but there was no significant difference between the selected test groups. The competence profile of volunteers coordinator in a sport event

Title: The competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers at a sports event Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers, primarily from the perspective of volunteers, for the needs of organizers of sports events especially in the Labe aréna Račice. The secondary tasks are to create the same profile from the perspective of managers, then from the perspective of volunteers and managers and to compare those particular perspectives. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on expert literature studies and interviews with the coordinators of volunteers and other managers of sports events a list of competencies necessary for the effective work of the coordinator of volunteers was created. Then the importance of individual competencies was evaluated by written questioning of volunteers at the 2019 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships. Results: The created competency profile includes 20 competencies that were evaluated by volunteers as the most important ones. These are competencies falling into the competency group personal characteristics: positive, trustworthy, responsible, diligent, friendly, mentally resistant, with natural authority, rational and calm. Title: Organization and composition of outdoor program for the open air schools Objectives: Main objective of this thesis is to compose suitable outdoor program for open air schools for children groups within age 6 to 10. The goal of this new program is more efficient use of time during open air schools with focus on development of abilities, skills, physical and psychical strength, communication among children and social interaction. Judging systems of competitions in dancesport from judges point of view

Title: Judging systems of competitions in dance sport from judges point of view Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to introduce the absolute judging system used on a dances sport competitions 3.0 to a wider public, and to describe differences between absolute judging systems 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0. Next goal is to map opinions, knowledge and attitudes of the TOP judges of the CDSF towards the judging systems of the dance sport. Methods: To obtain the necessary data for the elaboration of the thesis was used a method of electronic questionnaires. For the elaboration of a theoretical part of the thesis were used primary sources, professional literature and experts' own materials. Result: The thesis maps used systems of dance sport in the Czech Republic and abroad and their main progress towards objective and measurable judging. Based on survey, the questionnaire reveals the knowledge, opinions and attitudes of the Czech TOP judges towards System 3.0. In fact, the thesis is a breakthrough, because even though the absolute judging system 3.0 is already used in practice, there is still no Czech written documentation of its work or usage. Title: Diagnosis of selected competencies of track and field coach of youth Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to diagnose selected competences of a coach of youth athletics and to verify the hypothesis about the connection between performance and the aspiration of coaches. Methods: The thesis used qualitative methods of research and psychological testing. The qualitative methods used were testing, observation and research. Psychological testing was in the form of TATSO test. Finally, the statistical method F-test was used Results: The results of the work will be a useful source of information for the Czech Athletic Association in the development of curricula for trainers and will also be an indicator for athletic clubs, which organize youth trainers. Title: Customer standards for comparing fitness gyms. Objectives: The goal of the bachelor thesis is to assemble inside and outside standards, which influence customers decisions on choosing fitness gym. Next objective is to evaluate primary assembled standards by the customer preference. In other words, these standards are evaluated by the importance of the customer. Methods: The bachelor thesis is based on two types of primary sources that allow to assemble the standards and their scaling. Qualitative method of semistructured interview completes theretical basics and ensures current and traditional marketing data. However, quantitative method ensures customers preferences. Standards, that infulence customers for choosing the most convinient fitness gym, are evaluated by the importance. Results: Fitness service should respond to the customer demands and needs. The thesis monitors significant and unimportant customer standards. Using the thesis, fitness gyms will be able to discover the right things for optimalization and innovation. The thesis can be also used as a manual for the fitness gym owners. These people can increase preference of their gym, if they focus on the significant standards. Title: Attitudes to american football at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University Objectives: The focus of this bachelors thesis is to find out what are the attitudes of the students of Faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University to American football and also find out what knowledge students possess about this sport. Methods: In this work is used the method of quantitative questioning through questionnaire survey of students and graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. Questionnaire was distributed in electronic form and was created exclusively for the purposes of this thesis. The theoretical part was created and written based on studies of specialised literature. Results: In conclusion the research helped with finding the attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport to American football. The results are showing what knowledge do those students possess about rules of the game, posts or specific clubs and players. Some of the respondents were showing an interest in trying out this sport. Current knowledge of american football is average, however the stances are mostly positive and there is also an interest in playing this sport as well. Aggressive behaviour of the SK Slavia Prague football fans

Title: Aggressive behaviour of the SK Slavia Prague football fans Objectives: To find out, what are the specific features of the aggressive Slavia Prague fans and evaluate the consequences of their behaviour for the participants of football games. Methods: In this work, a quantitative method of a survey questionnaire was used. Electronic questioning was chosen as a specific method. The questionnaire was intended only for Slavia fans and its goal was to find out what kinds of aggressive behaviour they were showing and whether they felt their effects. The questionnaire was distributed through fan groups, as well as the official and unofficial sites of the club on Facebook. The results were analyzed by processing the answers into graphs and tables using absolute and relative frequencies, or their comparison in the sample files with the basic file. Results: The assumption that aggressive fans belong mostly to lower social groups has been confirmed. The consequences for the participants of football games are not very serious, but it is necessary to constantly try to identify deliquent fans in order to further eliminate the spectators' aggression at the stadiums. Economic impact of hosting the Winter Olympic Games Pyeongchang 2018

Title: Economic impact of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine economic impact of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Futhermore, this thesis finds out how the former host cities use Olympic venues, then compared with host cities and Pyeongchang. Methods: To determine economic impact of the Winter Olympics was used analysis based on study of various documents and websites. Also was used prognostic and comparative research to predict impacts and to make comparison across host cities. Results: The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang was successful. By hosting the Olympics, transport infrastructure and the image of the country and Korean companies were improved, New buildings were constructed and invigorated the economy and tourism as well. However, negative impacts are shifting of people from Pyeongchang to next larger city, justification for using national money caused the increase of the national debt and the undecided plan of post-olympic use of venues. Care of foreign players in Czech basketball

Title: Care of foreign players in Czech basketball Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the difference in care for foreign players at selected clubs of the Kooperativa NBL. Methods: A qualitative research method of personal interviews is used in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The respondents are foreign players playing for Czech teams and also the management of the club. Interviewing took place in March 2019. In total 15 interviews were conducted. Results: The outcomes of the research are processed by comparative analysis in the fifth chapter of this work. According to the results the care of foreign players differs mainly in access to foreign reinforcements. The majority of players confirmed that the terms of the contract are being respected. We have noticed that the teams in the first half of the table tend to choose experienced players while the bottom for financial reasons elects rookies.
