Verification of the logistic concept of inventory management

The content of this bachelor thesis is a search analysis of selected logistics concepts of inventory management and the creation of a simulation model of the logistic circuit within the intra-company transport. Part of the research section is an explanation of basic logistic concepts, an evaluation of individual inventory management concepts and a description of how to optimize them. The simulation model is created in Siemens Plant Simulation software. By simulating different variants of model parameter settings, the conditions for controlling the verified logistic circuit were designed.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a simulation model of the logistic chain of the inter-object transport of material, in order to verify the set requirements, which are require on the logistic chain. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software produced by Siemens PLM Software company. Section of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the solved area, the simulation experiments on the simulation model and suggestion for improvement the current state of the logistic chain.
Optimization of the conveyor technology for transporting bodies between welding and paint shops

The thesis deals with discrete simulation of a intersection between the operation of the bodyshop and paintshop in ŠKODA AUTO s. r. o. in Mladá Boleslav.In this thesis is described conveyor technology used in the area addressed, procedure in the development of a simulation model and tool TriCad, which was used as a support for creation of the simulation model.Simulation model is tested for a achievable throughput by experiments. Results of experiments are providing recommendations.

The aim of this thesis is to create simulation model of a conveyor node in the field of sequential stack topcoat paintshop of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in Mladá Boleslav. Simulation model is create in Plant Simulation. The chapters of this thesis describes the overview of conveying technology used for the transportation of bodies in the solved area, basics of discrete simulation, describe solved area and process of creation a simulation model. Using the simulation model is tested overall throughput of solved area, when changes input parameters. From results of experiments are deducted the conclusions.
Optimization of Material Flow in Mass Production by Means of Simulation Methods

The aim of the PhD thesis is to design a methodology for generating a material flow using a simulation meta-model of a mass production process. This methodology is in principle based on the relationship between selected material flow characteristics. Simulation of production and logistics processes has been increasingly used in planning, commissioning and subsequent operational management and optimization of the respective technological operations, in particular in mass production. The first part of the PhD thesis summarizes up-to-date findings in the field of discrete event simulation of material flow, related statistical and mathematical disciplines, but also information technology which enables effective realization of simulation studies. Attention is also paid to significant domestic and international conferences, symposia and interest associations related to simulation of manufacturing processes. The next part of the PhD thesis presents the methodology of reconstruction and generation of material flow using simulation meta-models developed for this purpose. Principles of algorithms used by these meta-models and their possible range of use are demonstrated by simulation experiments carried out. Their description and results are also commented. Special focus is put on the selection of significant material flow characteristics and their mutual relationship. For its evaluation a series of simulation experiments was conducted using a simulation model of a closed queuing system with variable parameters. Revealed interdependence between the selected material flow characteristics is experimentally verified using a detailed simulation model of particular selected mass production system. The conclusion of the PhD thesis summarizes provided findings and, with regard to the designed methodology of reconstruction and generating of material flow, it outlines possible further steps both in research and their practical application.
Motion control logic sequences making body in the topcoat

This thesis describes the finish-painting area at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. company in Mladá Boleslav. The logistic operations and transporter technology in this production hall are described here. Furthermore this thesis is concerned to sequence making of car body before the finish-painting area. The output evaluation is make of experiments and comparison of influence of an old logic of choosing a colored block with a new control logic for car body with influence on the correct shifting of car body according to a sequence number. The containers for car body including all other workplaces of the painting area are created in the Plant Simulation program.
Optimizing of the flow of traffic in body paint shop

This diploma thesis is based on creation of a simulation model of paint shop in the company ŠKODA AUTO a.s. The model was created in the simulation software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. It is tested by simulation model whether the planned modifications in a buffer for sorting cars by their color would have positive effect on Perlenkette principle. The Perlenkette principle will help to stabilize supplier processes and reduction of running production times. Conclusions are deduced from carried out simulation experiments.
Transformation of the simulation model from SW SimPro to SW Plant Simulation

This diploma thesis is based on creation of a simulation model of the conveyor bridge between a paint-shop and an assembly hall in the company Škoda Auto, a.s. in Mladá Boleslav. The model was created in the simulation software Plant Simulation on the grounds of an existing model in simulation software SimPro. Analysis of the existing model in software SimPro as well as a system analysis of conveyors used in the respected production section is carried out in the thesis. Results of simulation experiments accomplished with the newly created model follow. These experiments verify the throughput rate for various production programmes. On the grounds of these results a bottleneck analysis of the conveyor system is carried out and arrangements leading to increase in its throughput rate are made.

This bachelor thesis contains design and constructional solution of the horizontal screw conveyor which is used to transport hydrated lime according to set parameters. In thesis is given a calculation of the main dimensions, drive, conversion option and strength check of exposed parts of conveyor. The drawings are composed of the assembly of the proposed facility and individual details. The document was drawn up on the basis of technical report.
