Prevention of specific behavioral and learning disorders in pre-schoolage

This bachelor thesis deals with prevention of specific behavioural and learning disorders in preschool children. The bachelor thesis is aimed to find out the awareness and experience of parents about preventive measures for preschool children and the impacts of implemented preventive measures. The theoretical part of thesis describes the issues of prevention, specific behavioural disorders and specific learning disabilities. The work also deals with the early detection of the disorder, cooperation, communication between involved parties. The empirical part consists of mixed research - the result of the questionnaire, a semi-structured interview with a parent, a psychologist, a special ed teacher/speech therapist, and case study. The first research technique was a questionnaire, which was focused on finding out the awareness and experience of parents about preventive measures, their satisfaction with the setting, and their implementation. Furthermore, three case studies were prepared, which showed us the impact of implemented preventive measures, views, and attitudes of parents and experts on the issue. Interventional approaches to pupils with specific learning difficulties in young school age

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with possible adjustments to the education of pupils with specific learning disabilities (SLD) throughout primary school of the main educational system. The theoretical part defines specific learning disabilities, their aetiology, and psychological impacts of SLD on the pupils, their school performance and family. Attention is paid to the counselling system, intervention services in schools, and the most frequently used approaches. The empirical part of the work combines the quantitative and qualitative research. It was determined, using a questionnaire survey, what forms and methods of teaching and intervention approaches are provided to pupils. The questionnaire was also concerned with the number of pupils with special educational needs in classes, and the representation of special counsellor and psychologists in school counselling. The piece of the research part is an example of good practice in primary school. The results of this work demonstrate the extent of interventional approaches, and adjustments of education, that can help students with SLD to meet their educational goals, as well as they demonstrate the representation of these experts in school counselling centres in more than in half of the schools surveyed. Moral Reasoning of People with Mild intellectual Disability

The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyse the moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, as well as to find out their understanding of more abstract terms of the moral domain, what the principle of their deciding is, and which values are important for them. In the first part, the thesis concentrates on the influence of the intellectual disability on the cognitive, emotional and personality aspects of the subjects. It also introduces several theories of the moral development, moral structure and values, and finally, the thesis presents the outcomes of the foreign research focused on the moral reasoning of people with intellectual disability. In six case studies in the empirical part, the thesis demonstrates the moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, who have been respondents of exploratory interviews. In the concluding part, the thesis attempts to find some identical significant moments which might be characteristic of moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, and put them into the context of other research and theories.

Tato práce se zabývá tématem společného vzdělávání v předškolním vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem práce je odhalit možné bariéry společného vzdělávání a posoudit, zda jsou mateřské školy schopny přijímat žáky se speciálními potřebami a splnit tak zásady společného vzdělávání. Práce je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické časti. Teoretická část zahrnuje vývoj terminologie společného vzdělávání, ukázku vzdělávacích programů a podpůrných opatření, popisuje dítě se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a dítě mimořádně nadané, význam předškolního vzdělávání, školní prostředí a profesi pedagoga, dále bariéry společného vzdělávání v mateřských školách a pojem šikany. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkové šetření mezi řediteli a pedagogy mateřských škol, výsledky dotazníkového šetření, dva příběhy dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ve třídě z praxe a na závěr návrh na řešení bariér společného vzdělávání v mateřské škole. The aim of the diploma thesis called The role of a teaching assistant in the process of inclusive education in conditions of the particular elementary school is to find out, which aspects of inclusive education are fulfilled at the selected elementary school. The assessment is based on the research containing the analysis of school documents, personal attendance and observations at the selected school and structured interviews. Furthermore, on the basis of interviews with teacher assistants and selected teachers in a particular elementary school, the aim is to find out how the cooperation between selected teaching professions works and whether this cooperation meets the inclusion requirements, which are determined according to the study of professional literature. The theoretical part is divided into several areas. The main theme is inclusion. Other areas include the subjects of inclusion, such as schoolchild with special needs, teacher assistant and teacher. This diploma work describes educational trial in small village school in the context of inclusive education. It is focused on teaching united classes and teaching pupils with special educational needs. Theoretical part contains characteristic of small village schools, describes their historical evolution, typical features of teaching and position assistant of teacher in these schools. The diploma thesis Possibilities of Development of Visual Perception in Preparatory Class deals with how to contribute as much as possible to the work of a teacher in pre-school education to the readiness of children to enter primary school in the field of visual perception. In its theoretical part thesis contains the characterictics of pre-school age, school maturity and readiness and the area of education of children in pre-school age. The aim of practical part is to find out whether the implementation of regular stimulation of visual perception leads to its development. The research was carried out in two preparatory classes of elementary schools throught Test of Visual Perception and Set of Worksheets for the Development os Visual Perception.
