Obnova veřejného prostoru ve Žďáru nad Sázavou

This diploma theses focuses on public space restoration. The model object for this theses is the chateau area in Ždár nad Sázavou. The thesis "Restoration of public space" creates a conceptual solution for the landmark of the garden art. The model object is the chateau complex in Ždár nad Sázavou. In the theore-tical part, specialized terms are defined for a better understanding of the given issue. The issue of green areas's restoration and specifics for its maintaining and development are also defined. Based on the scientific literature, the concept of the restoration is proposed. The analytical part is focused on field surveys's realization and its subsequent evaluati-on. The current state of the model territory was assessed for the needs of the proposal and created on the basis of green's passport and dendrological survey data. On the basis of collec-ted data the cultivation measures and the overall of vegetation elements's care in the chateau were proposed. In order to achieve the main aim of the thesis, conceptual solutions of individual areas of the chateau area were proposed. The assessment of the cost for the overall restoration is included. Furthermore, the project documentation, which should be proceeded during restoration, is elaborated. The compositional solution of contemporary space respects the requirements of nowadays and preserves the values of this place.
Home for the elderly

The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new-built home for the elderly, in the cadastre unit of small town Blížkovice. It is a three-storey building with a basement. On the basement there are cellar berths, garage and technical facilities. On the first floor there is facilities, dining rom, a doctor´s surgery, massage, hairdresser´s and pedicure. On the second and third floor there are common areas and a total of twenty-two residentail units (1+kk – eighteen flats, 2+kk – two flats). The vertical loadbearing structures are made of clay blocks and lost formations. The object is insulated by a contact thermal insulation systém. The horizontal loadbearing structures and staircase are made of reinforced monolithic concrete slab. The roof consists of a flat roof with extensive green and terrace. There are ten parking spaces on the ground.
Obesity and Obesogens

The prevalence of obesity has already epidemic dimensions. Recently, the obesogens have been identified as the main cause in addition to excessive food intake, the lack of physical activity and the genetic background. These substances damage the metabolic processes, interfere with the hormonal functions and impair the energy balance in behalf of gaining weight and obesity. The theoretical part of this work deals with obesity, adipose tissue, lipid droplet and obesogens. From the obesogens there is closely specified a group of persistent organic pollutants (POP) from which one representative was used in the practical part of this work. The aim of the practical part was to describe the cellular model of differentiation the mesenchymal stem cell into adipocytes and to investigate the effect of one of the most frequently occurring obesogen on the expression genes of lipid metabolism and insulin signalling pathway. The morphological changes were observed in cells during differentiation (at days 0, 4, 10 and 21). The mesenchymal cells of the elongated spindle shape changed into adipocytes filled with lipid droplets. Oil Red O staining was used for quantification of accumulated lipids. Creation of instructional materials for selected sports leisure activities of children with visual impairment
This bachelor thesis is focused on the methodology of teaching selected sports activities in schools for pupils with visual impairment. For the purpose of this thesis there were chosen three sport activities: ice skating, cycling and swimming. The aim was to create videos that will serve as instructional material for physical education teachers in schools for pupils with visual impairment, but also for parents of pupils with visual impairment. The theoretical part defines terminology and legislation connected with the issue of teaching physical education of pupils with visual impairment. The following chapters describe the current educational system of children and pupils with visual impairment. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the methodology of ice skating, cycling and swimming, which is modified for the needs of pupils with visual impairment. The practical part is based on interviews with teachers who teach physical education at primary schools for pupils with visual impairment. Based on these interviews, instructional videos that describe the methodology of teaching skating, swimming and tandem biking to pupils with visual impairments have been created.
Motivation, reward and punishment in primary education and their practical application

The aim of the diploma thesis is the theoretic description of forms of motivation, rewards and punishments applied on elementary school pupils. The research was aimed at the individual forms of motivation, rewards and punishments that respondents apply in their teaching and what the effects are. Theory and practice are compared with the intention to highlight attitudes and features that are applied by teachers in the fields of motivation, rewards and punishments. Consequently, the agreement of forms of motivation and rewards for pupils described in the literature and their application of practical teaching at the elementary school was confirmed. However, the point the academic literature and applied practice differs were the forms and methods of pupil's punishments. Opinions about applied forms of punishment have been diverged by individual interviewed teachers although researched file shows considerable agreement in the previous two topics. The purpose of the thesis is to acquire an outline and detailed information about the given issue and their subsequent comparison with the practice knowledge. The effect of pyrazine derivatives on the secondary metabolites production in in vitro cultures of medicinal plants I.

The aim of this work was to investigate the effect of pyrazine derivative, 1-octyl-3-(pyrazin-2- yl)urea, as an abiotic elicitor on the production of flavonoid rutin in in vitro cultures of Fagopyrum esculentum Moench., Cultivar Bamby. Suspension and callus cultures were cultivated on Murashige and Skoog nutrient medium (MS) with the addition of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) as growth regulator at a concentration of 1 mg/l. The elicitor solution was added to the cultures at three concentrations: c1 (100,0 mg/100 ml), c2 (10,0 mg/100 ml) and c3 (1,0 mg/100 ml). The elicitor was monitored at six time intervals: 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 168 hours. To control samples 1 ml of ethanol 96% was added instead of elicitor solution and samples were collected after 24 and 168 hours. Samples were taken at given time intervals and dried. Subsequently, the rutin content was monitored by HPLC. The rutin release into the nutrient medium was also tested. During the experiment on the callus cultures no statistically significant increase in rutin production after elicitor treatment was observed. But elicitor increased rutin production in suspension cultures after treatment in all tested concentrations. The calluses always released rutin into the nutrient medium. Analysis of Czech Language Secondary School Text Books from the Gender Point of View

The thesis examines the issue of gender in textbooks. The aim of the thesis is to analyse three sets of Czech language secondary school textbooks and ascertain, whether these textbooks contribute to the propagation of gender stereotypes in the society or whether they do not. The thesis is divided into a theoretical section and an empirical section. The theoretical section firstly explicates the fundamental concepts of gender, secondly focuses on the discrimination of women via language and on other topics from the field of gender linguistics. The last chapter of the theoretical section focuses on how gender stereotypes influence schooling. The empirical section encompasses the aforementioned analysis of the selected Czech language textbook sets. The analysis further investigates the manner in which men and women are represented in the curriculum, how men and women are portrayed in the illustrations, if the linguistic means are gender-balanced, and also whether the textbooks include any gender linguistics topics. The results of the analysis show that in all textbook sets, men are the dominant gender in illustrations, as well as among significant figures and authors of literary excerpts. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new-built apartment building in Trebic, located in the Vysocina region. The apartment house is without cellar with three above-ground floors and one main entrance to the building. A total of six residentail units and common areas for the residents of the house. The vertical loadbearing structures are made of heat-insulating blocks. The horizontal loadbearing structures and staircase are made of reinforced monolithic concrete slab. The roof consists of a flat roof with extensive green and a single-layer flat roof. Windows and doors are plastic. The bulit will beg as heating. There are twelve parking spaces on the ground.
Philosophical aspects of education in dialogue between Wolfgang Brezinka and Zygmunt Bauman

The text of this work is primarily based on the works of Wolfgang Brezinka, focusing on the philosophy of education and on many sociological works by Zygmunt Bauman, which are cited for better orientation in the philosophical-educational context of the chapter focusing on the philosophy of education used in the antiquity The aim was to present the reader with at least a brief awareness of the individual aspects of the philosophy of education as presented by Brezinka and to supplement it with the possible aspects that can be taken from Bauman, who primarily focuses on exploring the socio-cultural phenomena of the modern society. Gradually, the essential characteristics, features, and characteristics that accompanied the upbringing in antiquity are presented, just as the educational aims and beliefs in relation to the upbringing that is presented by Brezinka. Furthermore, there are discussed and examined the pitfalls of modernism and postmodernism in relation to personality, culture, society and philosophical-educational possibilities as pointed out by Bauman.
