Analysis of Landscape Deforestation Using Satellite Imagery

Today is important to protect forest resources and tracking deforestation is essential. Re- mote sensing has an important role in this monitoring effort. This thesis studies four different techniques for detecting deforestation from satellite imagery - using both optical and radar data. The specifics of Earth observation data and geospatial analyses are described. The analytical techniques are used for detecting deforestation in the study area of Chocske vrchy. Image segmentation with Unet neural network model is used to classify there all deforested patches.
Application for Efficient Drone Control Using Augmented Virtuality

The aim of this work is to identify problematic situations that may occur when piloting a drone and based on them design elements of the user interface that would eliminate these problems. The proposed elements were implemented in an existing drone control application. The resulting solution uses the technology of augmented virtuality and augmented reality, where supporting visualization elements are inserted directly into the 3D scene and real data from the drone. In my work, I created a system that allows the pilot to define clues in the scene in the form of a mission, extends the application with a navigation system to these points and adds to the application elements that show the pilot the direction and distance of approaching obstacles.
Searching for Similar 3D Models

Goal of this paper is development of aplication for comparing of 3D models. It deals with extraction od descriptors suitable for comparing of 3D models and enables to find models similar to users query. For extraction of descriptors application uses Reeb graph method. This paper also describes usage of libraries that implements Reeb graph method and some experiments with speed and quality over pre prepared models database.
Graffiti Tags Re-Identification

This thesis focuses on the possibility of using current methods in the field of computer vision to re-identify graffiti tags. The work examines the possibility of using convolutional neural networks to re-identify graffiti tags, which are the most common type of graffiti. The work experimented with various models of convolutional neural networks, the most suitable of which was MobileNet using the triplet loss function, which managed to achieve a mAP of 36.02%.
System for Augmented Reality Utilisation in Museums and Galleries

The aim of the master thesis is to provide visitors of various types of objects - typically galleries, museums, etc. with additional information about exhibited objects with emphasis on visual display in augmented reality. It includes an analysis of already existing solutions, design and implementation of the entire system needed for deployment. From the point of view of the content creator (administrator), the system represents a complex solution enabling the creation of an interactive walk - scanning 3D objects, scanning 2D objects and adding content to the given objects. On the other hand, the tool for visitors (users) who are part of an interactive walk, provides additional information about objects primarily located near the user, which are automatically detected by the camera on the mobile phone. Solution includes augmented reality, which is implemented using ARKit technology, so the final application is built on the iOS platform. The work addresses the issue of detection of 3D objects and their subsequent recognition, along with the way to work with this information, how to store it and then use it for purposes of this thesis. In the final solution, emphasis is placed on the simplicity of the usage (guide marks, hints...) and overall user experience.
Mobile App for Shared Shopping

The goal of this thesis is to create a mobile application for the Android operating system, which makes organizing a community shopping easier for its users and their friends. Each user can build a community of their own that offers collective purchasing of products, or can offer their products for purchase. They categorize these offers to their channels and their friends choose only those channels that they find interesting. If their friends accept their offer, they see the necessary information about their individual purchases. Thus, this application enables users to offer shared purchasing to their friends e.g. at a grower from whom these people could not buy individually. They can procure quality produce together at a competitive price and they can also reduce production of plastic packaging by purchasing as a group.

Crowd Density Estimation from a Photo

The aim of this thesis is to develop an aplication estimating the  total number of people at a demonstration or at  other public events. Input is a serie of photos from a drone or some other photos. The output are couloured maps according to people density in the place. Photos are placed in a topological map. Convolutional neural network MCNN is used for the crowd counting, which can generate a density map from the photo. Special method was proposed to correct the total amount of counted people when photographs overlap. The application is  divided into server and web client. The server part generates density maps, saves data and runs an overlap correction algorithm. Client handles user inputs and provides an interactiv map with visualization.
Tool for Effective Management of Web Application Tests

Cílem této práce je vytvořit nástroj, který interpretuje testy během jejich vývoje a výzkum ohledně dopadů interaktivního testování na uživatele. Problém byl vyřešen vytvořením programu, který upraví existující testovací sady pomocí Java Instrumentace a poskytne uživatelské prostředí pro manipulaci s upravenou testovací sadou. Výsledkem bylo zejména zrychlení procesu vytváření testů (při uživatelském testování byli uživatelé schopni napsat test během minut, bez přechozí znalosti testovací sady). Všichni uživatelé kteří podstoupili uživatelské testování vyjádřili zájem o použití nástroje při běžné práci. Hlavním výsledkem této práce je poukázání na neefektivitu současných nástrojů, analýzu potřeb uživatelů a návrh, vytvoření a otestování nového nástroje pro vyhovění těmto potřebám.
Utilization of Motion Sensor Data for User Activity Analysis

This bachelor thesis aims to provide a design and implementation of an algorithm for analysis of user activity based on data from motion sensors. The thesis explores possibilities of classification and counting repetitions of 7 basic body-weight exercises, namely: push ups, squats, planks, sit-ups, seated knee raises, tricep dips and lunges. Data from motion sensors are collected by a mobile device located in top pocket of exercising user's trousers. Selection of used methods and their parameters as well as number and type of extracted features is chosen with regard to low computational complexity. When designing a solution, emphasis was put on the fact that it is irrelevant how the device is positioned in the user's pocket. For the thesis, a dataset containing 7 training sessions from 4 different users was created. Designed method was implemented as a desktop application with Command Line Interface and consequently validated on the created dataset. The solution was able to reach metrics of F1-score in range 45.3 % - 74.9 % for analysis and counting repetitions of an unseen user's training session. For an unseen training session of a known user, the metrics of F1-score was up to 94 %.
