Web Application For Weather Forecast
Mucha, Kamil ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a web application for weather forecast. This will require collecting the data about weather forecast from public data sources, so it is crucial to choose the appropriate data source. These data will be stored in the database and will be updated on a regular basis. Based on the current weather, the app will also create weather history. On the web page, these data will be displayed in the form of a graph where user can select the location and choose the exact time from which the data will be displayed. If there is no data stored in the database for that location, it is redirected to the nearest location with available data.

This thesis focuses on support tool for project management. The introduction describes the areas of knowledge management according to current standards of PMI. The focus is placed on the inputs and outputs of each process of all knowledge areas. To demonstrate all the inputs and outputs of processes in order to specify system requirements for transformation the illustrations have been attached. The following chapter investigates the system itself, the process of transformation of inputs to outputs. First of all the requirements specification is created. Requirements are focused on functionality, characteristics and expectations of users. At the selected process in the proposal, in agreement with the supervisor, three methods are selected. Transformation of inputs to output is described in these methods. The system should be designed with regard to the appropriate visualization of the outputs of these three methods. The thorough analysis of the results obtained is presented in the final chapter along with the students' personal contribution and the possible future development.

The implementation environment (Java EE) is chosen and the system is implemented in it. Then its functionality is checked up on the pattern of data. In conclusion, the results achieved are evaluated and the outputs of processes in the field of management stakeholders are also discussed. At the end the future development of this master´s thesis is delineated.
A Tool for Checking Correctness of Design Diagrams in UML
Dlouhý, Ivo ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Aim of this master's thesis is to create a tool for checking correctness of design diagrams in UML. The work describes the UML language and connected standards, defines the problem of UML correctness and explains the approach of using incorrectness pattern database to check the UML correctness. Furthermore it suggests the QVT language as a suitable for implementing the incorrectness patterns. The problem is decomposed into shared incorrectness pattern database manageable via web interface, standalone tool for use from the command line and a plugin for the UML design software Visual Paradigm. All of the components are designed, implemented, tested and evaluated. The important aspect is the openness and extensibility of the tool.
