The diploma thesis deals with design of structural system of selected parts of load-bearing structure of car park – common floor slab, selected columns, staircase. The Finite Element Method software is used to analyse the load-bearing structure, the results are verified by simlyfied hand-done calculation. The design of structures is done according to valid standards.
Multifunctional Building

The diploma thesis concerns static project of chosen parts of load-bearing structure four-storey multifunctional building. It´s frame structural systém locally supported colomns. The thesis suggests floor slab above ground floor including punching, colomn, foundation pad, basement wall, loaded soil and strip foundation. Every element was judged by load-bearing capacity, designed reinforcement and made drawings of reinforcement. Calculation of internal forces is made by finite element method of the program dlubal RFEM.
Design of reinforced concrete structurs of shopping center

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the locally underpinned, monolithic, reinforced concrete ceiling plate of the lowest floor of a multi-storey shopping centre, with the design of a typical column on the same floor as well as with the column foot under that column. Furthermore, the solution of the assembled staircase has been made. The design of the ceiling plate is done by using the Scia Engineer programme and the check is done by manual calculation using the sum moments method. The design of the column, column foot and the staircase is done by manual calculation. The design was proceeded according to the valid European standards ČSN EN 1992-1-1 and ČSN 73 1201. The result of this work is the static design of the ceiling plate reinforcement, the column, the column foot, the assembled staircase and the drawing documentation.
Concrete slab of family house

The main aim of Bachelor thesis is design and assessment of detached house´s reinforced concrete slab. The ground plan of slab is bent under rake angle 120° and there is a hole for staircase. Internal forces are calculated by finite element method and verified by replacement beam method, but the model for manual design is simplified. Reinforcement is designed for design values of internal forces from finite element method. Outcomes of calculations are building drawings of reinforcement, where the most exposed part, angled part, is solved. Also, tangential internal forces from bended reinforcement in every layer are solved there. Design and calculations were realized by current norms.
Reinforced concrete structure of apartment building

The main subject of this bachelor thesis is focused on the design of reinforced concrete locally supported slab of a apartment building. Another part includes the design of a one selected column and stairway. The slab is located on the second floor and column on the first floor. Calculation of the internal forces is is created at computer software system Scia Engineer 17.1. The Results of the software are compared with the result of the simplified manual method. The calculation method is based on ČSN EN 1992-1-1.
Cast-in-place tank of sewage plant

Bachelor's thesis deals with structural design and check of cast-in place tank of sewage plant. Solved elements are floor slab, walls and foundation slab. Calculation of load effect is done three methods: manually, per tables and finite element method per software. Elements of tank are checked on ultimate limit state. Load-bearing capacity of subsoil and settlement of tank are checked too. Next are processed reinforced drawings and formwork drawing.
Reinforced concrete structure of administrative building

My bachelor thesis focuses on the design of selected parts of monolithic reinforced concrete structures of an administrative building. It is about a locally supported ceiling slab, an inner column and a staircase. Calculation of the internal forces was performed in the SCIA Engineer program and then verified by a hand method. The construction is assessed according to ČSN EN 1992 - 1 - 1.
Reinforced concrete structure of a department store

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of main parts of the carried reinforced concrete structure of a department store. The aim of the thesis was to design and evaluate the reinforced concrete structure of the ceiling slab, pillar, staircase and the wall. A graphical documentation of selected elements is also a part of the thesis. The calculation of internal forces was performed in a computational program SCIA Engineer 17, subsequently this calculation was verified by a manual method. The construction is designed according to the ČSN EN standards.

The Bachelor thesis deals with structural solution and comparing of the two variants of reinforced concrete slab structure of administrative building. First variant, designed like a slab with full section, is being compared with a variant of slab, which is designed like a voided slab by formwork U-boot. The structure is designed and assessed for ultimate limit state in accordance with ČSN EN 1992-1-1: Design of concrete structures – Part 1-1: General rules and rules for building.
