Improvement of the Functional Properties of the Control Mechanism of Turbine Waste Gate Valve
Španko, Dominik ; Vacula, Jiří (oponent) ; Novotný, Pavel (vedoucí práce)
This diploma thesis deals with the improvement of the functional properties of the control mechanism of turbine waste gate valve, which is an essential part of the turbocharger. During operation of this mechanism, substantial wear of its components occurs. The aim of this diploma thesis is wear analysis of the main pin and proposal of new design solutions of pin fitting, enabling wear reduction. At the beginning of the thesis, research of suitable methods for analysis of mechanism dynamics and wear calculation of components is performed. In the next part, the forces acting in contact between the body of bearing and main pin are evaluated. Subsequently, an analysis is performed to calculate the contact pressure. Based on the analyses outputs is possible to calculate the wear of the original as well as the new designs of the main pin fitting. New design proposals presented in the work allow to significantly reduce the wear of the pin and thus achieve a longer operating life of the mechanism.
Problematics of ecological transport of passenger cars
Španko, Dominik ; Svída, David (oponent) ; Beran, Martin (vedoucí práce)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of ecological transport of passenger vehicles. The aim of the thesis is to analyze given issue and evaluate negative effects caused by passenger vehicles. In the introduction are presented the most widely used types of vehicles, later on are evaluated facts that influence the environmental impact of given vehicles throughout their entire life cycle. In the last part of thesis, the ecological burden of passenger vehicles with combustion engine is compared to electric vehicles, also possible future development in given issue is outlined.
