Creating of variable rate application maps based on the mapping of spatial variability of soil agrochemical properties and crop yield heterogeneity
Lukas, V. ; Neudert, L. ; Širůček, P. ; Kraus, M. ; Novák, J. ; Mezera, J. ; Zemek, František ; Pikl, Miroslav ; Žížala, D.
The methodology describes how to create application maps based on digital soil mapping and soil sampling results and how to determine the dose of variable rate application of fertilizer addressed to spatial variability of nutrient content in soil and crop yields within the field. It includes also the results of a comparison of these procedures with respect to the total amount of fertilizer applied and the occuracy of the dose distribution across the fields.
Spatial heterogeneity of selected soil properties assessed from airborne imaging spectroscopy and satellite imagery data
Zemek, František ; Pikl, Miroslav ; Lukas, Vojtěch ; Ždímal, V. ; Kraus, M. ; Širůček, P.
The methodology aims at presenting new and economically efficient approaches to assessment of spatial heterogeneity of selected properties of bare soils. There are three key features the authors paid attention: 1/the simplicity in usage with keeping sufficient accuracy, 2/data availability, 3/economic aspects allowing application to many users. The methodology covers two complementary parts. The first one gives an overview of laboratory and field soil spectroscopy. It is followed by a detail description of practical application of airborne hyperspectral and satellite multispectral data in assessment of spatial heterogeneity of bare soils. All applied methods have been developed and tested on scale of medium size farm.
Position of Developing Countries in the Global Economy and Possibilities of Their Further Development.
Hrubcová, Gabriela ; Sirůček, Pavel (advisor) ; Palatková, Monika (referee) ; Jiránková, Martina (referee)
The thesis aims to analyze the issue of the position of developing countries in the global economy and suggest the possibilities of their further development. Such a broad topic is progressively specified with focus on the group of Least Developed Countries. The key area of research in terms of the growth alternatives and poverty alleviation is tourism, due to its considerable potential. Dissertation briefly presents issues of growth and development, its context, trends and the significant development indicators. Consequently, the thesis deals with the group of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and their potential, current position in the global economy, outlook and trends. Moreover, it focuses on the topic of development in relation to the current concept of the international organization agenda and the Unite Nations decision to declare 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. In this context, it is determined whether tourism can be considered as a main driver of growth and development and as a tool for poverty reduction. A case study aims to analyze the economic effects of tourism in LDCs according to the Economic Impact Research and uses the cluster analysis. As a result, countries are grouped into a number of clusters based on the specific components. The final chapter presents a proposal for the model of further (tourism) development in LDCs.
Youth unemployment in selected EU countries
Strašková, Tereza ; Pavelka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Sirůček, Pavel (referee)
The thesis examines youth unemployment in European Union, specifically in Germany, Spain, and the Czech Republic. The main goal of the study is to coherently evaluate a development of youth unemployment rate since 2005, and to find out its fundamental causes. The thesis is split into two parts. The first part covers a theoretical background of the chosen topic. The following part, firstly, investigates individual countries in terms of labour market development, impacts of the world crises, and educational systems. Subsequently, the rate of young unemployed people in the selected countries is analysed. The work investigates the development of youth unemployment rate, the long-term youth unemployment rate, the NEET, and the European Union actions.
Impact of immigration on the economical indicators in Australia, Great Brita-in and United states of America
Baránková, Petra ; Macáková, Libuše (advisor) ; Sirůček, Pavel (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of immigration and its impact on the economy in Australia, Great Britain and the United States of America. In the introduction, various migration theories explaining the migration motifs and immigration policies, whose specifics and the type of requirements of the monitored countries sheds the composition of incoming individuals, are discussed. This profile is complemented by the analysis itself, which examines the socio-economic factors of foreign-born population living in the monitored countries. This analysis is carried out by cross-sectional data comparisons, but it monitors the arrival times of individuals, providing an overview within the timeline. In order to determine the impact of immigration on employment and average wages, regression was used, but this effect was in no way proven beyond the impact on average wages in Australia.
Control panel for smart house automation
Širůček, Pavel ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with smart house automation, the application of products in this field, and their use. It also describes a specific solution developed in this work for smart house automation and its hardware and software properties. The developed smart house automation panel is a compact device designed primarily for non-commercial use. It is a multipurpose device whose specific function is set by the user by selecting control instructions. This work contains a description of these instructions, the software for building them, and examples of practical applications.

API for ITIL Service Desk Systems
Širůček, Pavel ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Main focus of this thesis is creating workaround for ITIL processes in service desk systems. As a objective with highest priority was to choose service desk systems, then create interface which can make possible communication between service boards and selected processes. I described also in generally meaning ITIL library, common service desk functions and important ITIL processes. Management of incidents, problems, changes and configurations is based on a set of processes, which are able to manipulate with interface. Web services are main tool of implemented API for working with these processes. In conclusion are also presented several scenarios to demonstrate communication between clients and service across the board created interface.
Non-Realistic Video Rendering
Širůček, Pavel ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals a with ways of non-realistic view of video. There are summarized video processing techniques in this document. The main focus is in painting techniques and video processing with these techniques. Individual operations and image-processing methods, to ensure coherence between video frames, are also mentioned here. The application for video processing, using the OpenCV library, is the part of the thesis.
