ISP Network Optimalization

Bachoelor's thesis is focusing on analysis of network local ISP, detecting actual problems and offering a solution for founded problems. There were problems with broadcast-storm, private address space, RSTP protocol settings and DHCP spoofing. The following changes were introduced: OSPF routing, RSTP override, automatic backup, client separation using DHCP. There has been a reduction in broadcast traffic and associated broadcast-storm.
Threading operations in the building industry

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the sumarization of common threads and thread joints used in construction industry complemented with illustrations of actual joints. XRD characterization of electrodes and electrode materials for electrochemical power sources

The thesis describes available choices of methods for research of electrochemical power source electrode strcture by x-ray diffraction spectroscopy. At first there is a theoretical computation of difractogram. Then there are discussed possibilities of in-situ and ex-situ techniques as background research. Practical part of thesis compares theoretical assumptions to measurements of lithium and sodium cells, including analyze of crystallographic phases and lattice constants. As a conclusion, there are discussed possibilities of subsequent research.
Electrode materials and electrolytes for aluminium-ion accumulators

This bachelor thesis presents a topic of aluminum-ion batteries, which have recently attracted great attention owing to their good electrochemical performance and possible use in commercially produced electronics. The paper introduces the basic principles of the function of aluminum-ion accumulators and their advantages, which are a main motivation for further research. The main feature of the theoretical part is an overview of the current state of research on suitable electrode materials and electrolytes for this type of accumulators. The experimental part is focused on the preparation of several carbon-based cathode materials, preparation of the IL-type electrolyte and subsequent cell assembly. The obtained results are evaluated and briefly discussed, taking into account the effects of the cell components and other factors.
A structure study of high-voltage cathode materials for lithium ion battery using X-ray crystallography

This diploma thesis deals with the X-Ray crystallography study of structural changes within lithium-ion cells. First part consists of the theoretical discussion about the structural changes in commerce lithium-ion cells with focus on X-Ray crystallography. Then the ex situ, in situ and operando terms are discussed. Verification of the XRD usage is realized on the LiFePO4 material. Experimental part deals with the optimization and preparation of electrochemical cells and the measurements. Finally, results of the Rietveld analysis are discussed.
Properties of graphenoid layers

Master thesis “Properties of graphenoid layers” deals with materials of graphenoid nature such as graphene, graphene oxide and its reduced state. The paper effectively summarize basic theoretical knowledge in the first half of its range. In the second half the project deals with practical part consisted of experiments with application of graphene oxide solvents, its analysis and especially comparing properties of non-reduced graphene oxide with its chemically reduced form. Material is examined in a form of applied thin layers on different substrates.
Electrochemical preparation of graphene oxide and its utilization in LiFePO4 composites

This work deals with issues of application of the graphene material in the field of electrochemical energy storage. It includes basic graphene properties, the overview of methods for the production of lithium-iron-phosphate/graphene composites and results of different research approaches. The general aim is to present growing opportunity of application of graphene based composites in the electrochemical energy storage field. In the experimental part of this work, a electrochemical exfoliation of graphite and a production of LFP/G composites with different amount of graphene material and with different types of graphene material are carried out. This work includes also x-ray diffraction spectroscopy measurements and the evaluation of impacts of graphene additives on final properties of the electrochemical energy storage.

The bachelor thesis Financial analysis of a company Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. is divided into two logical parts, methodical and practical. The methodical part provides basic informations about principles and purposes of financial analysis together with its sources. Further the horizontal and vertical analysis and the differential and ratio indicators of profitability, liquidity, aktivity and indebtedness. At the conclusion of the methodical part credit and bankruptcy models are presented. In the practical part this methodology is applied to the analyzed company in accounting periods ending in years from 2012 to 2016.
Challenge of an Arbitrator in International Arbitration

in English In the past several decades, arbitration has become very popular method of settlement of international business disputes. One of the key factors behind this success is the possibility to choose the arbitrator. Nevertheless, the right of a party to select an arbitrator is subject to limitations as it may clash with some basic legal maxims such as the right to a fair trial. The specific definition of the right to a fair trial varies from one jurisdiction to another, but its essentials remain the same. In the context of selection of arbitrators, the right to a fair trial manifests itself in a form of the principle that all arbitrators must be and remain independent and impartial. That means that a person deciding a dispute must not be influenced by matters outside of the proceedings which would result in a bias towards or against either of the parties. In order to achieve this, rules applicable to arbitration contain a pro cedure to remove an arbitrator who fails to meet these requirements from the tribunal. One of the types of bias which impairs impartiality of an arbitrator is the so-called "issue conflict." Study of effect of organic additives on the zinc deposition in alkaline electrolytes using X-ray difraktometry

Bachelor thesis studies effect of the selected organic additives on zinc deposit properties in relation to negative electrode for Ni-Zn battery. All additives were examined with emphasis on the study of dendritic and mossy structure growth suppression at low, middle and high current densities. Additives have been selected in order to their already known benefits for Ni-Zn cell and in order to their using in galvanic production. Additives were examined by XRD diffractometer Rigaku Miniflex 600 HR and electron mi-croscope Tescan Vega 3 XMU.
