New knowledge of the harp technique after my many years of studying in Prague.

Abstract The main theme of my work is the description of the acquired knowledge in the study of the harp. During my stay in Prague, I compared my experience in studying Chinese traditional string instruments with technique and teaching the concert pedal harp in Europe. Based on my observations and my own practice, I found differences in the construction of the instrument, the technique of the game and the position of the hands in the game. Furthermore, the differences in notation related to the teaching methods of musical theory and listening exercises in the Czech Republic, which I did not meet in my country. No less important knowledge is the active release and methodical procedures for the composition of the compositions and their subsequent concert performance. The final summary of these findings is that all these aspects are closely related to the musical expression and thus form a single unit that helps to perfect the interpretation of music.
