Legal and Economic Aspects of Start-up Business
WALTER, Dominik
The diploma thesis deals with the legal and economical aspects of starting a business. The introduction describes those aspects, mainly the choice of legal form of business, the basic documents governing relations within the company and the options for legal protection. Furthermore, the author focuses on the startups, which are closely related to starting a business. The section dealing with startups lays out their definition, determines how many there are in the Czech Republic and abroad and identifies barriers to their establishment. The practical part analyzes Czech startups, focusing on their legal form and economical performance. Part of this part is a chapter on the new legal form of business, which arose in Slovakia in response to the needs of local startups. The conclusion of the diploma thesis answers the research questions stemming from the application of the work's methodology.
Contaminant binding to colloids in water from a mining/smelting area
Walter, Dominik ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Faimon, Jiří (referee)
This study deals with the association of trace elements with colloids and particles in surface waters and groundwaters of mining and smelting district of Příbram. Colloids were studied using combination of cascade filtration a tangential flow ultrafiltration method to separate individual colloid fractions. Colloids were separated by filtration membranes with nominal pore size 0,8 μm, 0,45 μm, 0,1 μm, 100 kDa, and 5 kDa. Water samples were analyzed using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and HPLC. The data were used for thermodynamic modeling using PHREEQC-2 programme. The results show that major and trace elements can be divided into several groups, based on their abundance in individual size fractions. Most elements dominate in fraction of truly dissolved matter as dissociated ions (< 5 kDa), maximum concentration in colloid fraction is 5-20 % and almost exclusively in fraction 5 kDa - 100 kDa. Gradual decrease of concentration in all fractions at low ionic strength (1,2 mmol/l) was observed in case of elements such as As, Co, Cr, Si, Sb and U. Gradual decrease of concentration in several samples was observed for Cd, Fe, Pb, Mn and Zn. Dominant binding to colloids and particles in surface waters was observed for Fe and Pb, where these fractions accounted for over 90 %. The main factor influencing colloid...
Contents of a Business Plan
WALTER, Dominik
The bachelor thesis consists of three parts: overview of the given matter, methodology and practical part. In the theoretical part the author is focused on the definition of a business plan, what is its purpose and its structure. It is only marginally indicated, what is an entrepreneurship and which are current entrepreneurial trends in the Czech Republic. In order to achieve the objective of the bachelor thesis, it is necessary to analyse the market at first, obtain necessary data and select methods, which will be used for the assessment of the final plan. In the practical part the author is focused on the execution of specific business plan, which includes all factors necessary for the obtaining of foreign financial resources. The most important part of the business plan is basic information about the business, business location, offered product, market analysis and financial plan. Conclusion contains the assessment of the business plan based on selected assessment methods of an investment and it is determined, if such executed business plan can be successful.
Grounwater regime of the Cheb Basin
Walter, Dominik ; Datel, Josef (advisor) ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (referee)
This study summarizes some general findings of geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, structural and other conditions of the Cheb tertiary basin and descrides how these conditions are connected with circulation of graoundwaters and with appearance of mineral waters of different chemical composition and appearance of discharge of dry CO2. The final chapter shows information of changes of groundwater level at specific locations and periods of time by analyzing data gathered from borehole monitoring site of Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. Measuring of groundwater level was taken every day or every week, also average data of every month were taken. These data show variant changes of groundwater level which can be associated with definite events and this study shows if it is possible to associate some changes of groundwater level with exact events.
