Comparison of movement abilities and skills in players of children's categories between individual football clubs

Title: Comparison of movement abilities and skills in children's players between clubs in football. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine and then compare the level of selected motor skills and abilities in the U8 football category between selected football clubs. Methods: 61 players of U8 category (Bohemians Praha 1905 - 21 players, ČAFC Praha- 20 players, FC Spartak Rychnov nad Kněžnou - 20 players) participated in the study. Selected tests from UNIFITTEST (6 - 60) were used to obtain the necessary data. Game ball handling skill was tested by non-standardized 4x10 m ball test. Results: We found that U8 players whose A team plays in the first league are better in 2 out of 5 tests than clubs whose A team plays in the fifth league. We also found that U8 players playing for a Prague club are also better in 2 out of 5 tests than a non-Prague club.
