The aim of the thesis was outlining the issue of domestic child abuse in the context of its detection and exposure. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the concept of domestic child abuse and its assesing. The issue of domestic child abuse was focused on The Educational system. Research in the practical part was aimed at teachers of primary schools in the selected district of Prague. The main issues on which research responds is to measure the activity of teachers and the knowledge of the issues in relation to addressing specific cases of domestic child abuse. The research results show a low level of awareness in the subject and thus the possibility of further education and training in this direction.
