Inclusive Education at a Day Camp

The thesis presents a case study of day camps hosted in the Rybka children club. The research examines what organizers and participants of a day camp, including parents of participating children, say about the realization of day camps in respect to the fact that children with special education needs took part in day camps. The first part deals with the theoretical context of the topic and selected concepts: day camp, school-age child development, children with special education needs. The second part presents the results of the qualitative research. The comments and the findings of participatory observation complete the gained findings. The conclusion includes the comparison of the research findings with similarly focused research.
The Theme of the Hounted House in Shirley Jackson´s Haunting of Hill House and Stephen King´s Black House

The bachelor thesis deals with the theme of the haunted house in two novels, namely The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and Black House by Stephen King. The first part of this thesis describes the literary and historical context of the chosen theme. It focuses on the literary backgroung of the 18th and the 19th centuries, and also on the link between individual writers and their literary works. The next part of the thesis deals with the life and inspiration of Shirley Jackson and Stephen King. It pays a special attention to the haunted houses, their characteristic and their function in literature. The last part of the thesis concentrates on the interpretation of the stories of the main characters. It deals with their portraits and their contact with mystery and the supernatural.
