Uher, Vojtěch ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new type of grouting material with electrically conductive function suitable for connecting cracks and gaps in building protection systems against lightning strikes and surges. The theoretical part summarizes the important knowledge about the grouting and grouting materials, introduces the current state of knowledge in the field of lightning and surge protection of buildings and also the preconditions of electrical conductivity of cement-based composite materials. In the practical part are summarized selected properties, which the electrically conductive grouting material should have and the relevant standards tests for experimental verification of selected properties are described. A wide range of primary and secondary fillers are studied and the most suitable ones are chosen to achieve a low electrical resistivity value. At the end of the thesis, there are recipes based on amassed knowledge and using secondary fillers to reduce the environmental impact of the developed materials during mass production. Reduced resistivity has been demonstrated in recipes using waste carbon and chopped carbon fibers, but has failed to fully meet standard requirements. The result of the work are new recipes and knowledge that can serve as a basis for further research.
Experimental testing of hydroinsulating injection screens efficiency in dependance on properties of building materials
Červenka, Martin ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The most of the buildings are almost always faced with moisture in our climate. In the past, the humidity was reduced and conducted only by mechanical methods. Over time, chemical wet masonry method also known as chemical infusion curtain was invented and introduced into practice. This method involves the creation of boreholes at a selected height of humid masonry. These boreholes are impregnated with special solutions. These solutions in humid masonry fill pores in the field of boreholes and thanks to this subsequence the monolithic waterproofing curtain is created. The objective of this work is to determine the methodology for verifying effectiveness of various types of waterproofing injection curtains depending on the properties of the various types of building materials.

Large amount of different types of industrial wastes are still not re-use as secondary raw materials in industry. The work deals with finding a new way how to use secondary raw materials, especially the possibilities of using recycled glass from different sources as a fillers in the polymer protective materials development for horizontal structures. The main task of this work is to develop a material with the desired physic - mechanical properties and further verifying the influence of particle shape on their chemical resistance. Result of this work will find advanced protective materials using secondary raw materials as alternatives to be in terms of economic and ecological efficiency replacement for conventional products.
Assessment of the influence of material composition of new buildings on their market price and the price of existing properties in the locality
Schenková, Klára ; Abraham, Karel (referee) ; Mikš, Lubomír (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The submitted thesis focuses on establishing the extent of influence of material composition of selected segment of real estates (units) on their market price and price of the existing properties in the locality, including reasoning and experimental validation of market value (or market price) assessment methodology of the given property. It is indisputable that there are many subjective opinions and views of each individual assessor (of expert opinion) entering into the process of property assessment. Therefore it is necessary to “standardise” or rather unify, if possible, at least some input data in a way most likely preventing disproportions that are still a part of expert practise nowadays. The influence of material composition on the value (price) of the property, as for the relation to unit size, its locality and also its age and technical condition, is within this thesis verified first of all in computational phase of the assessment of the specific unit, when it in principle shows possible inaccuracy in assessing the final price of property, which should be avoided by a proper expert assessment. Practical impact and use of the influence of material composition is applied within the comparative method as one of several assessment methods that can be employed in establishing (assessment) of market value of the property.
Laboratory testing of hydroinsulating injection gel´s efficiency in dependence on state of various building materials
Miková, Lenka ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Nowadays the use of chemical gel injection for humid masonry provides many benefits. If we consider the financial aspects of this kind of remediation of humid masonry, we can say that this method is least expensive and time-consuming. In comparison with other remediation methods major interventions into the structure is not required, which could result in deterioration of the structural analysis of the works and the consequent need of special machinery, which subsequently increases spent effort and resources. There is also need for additional screens easily applied to walls breached by rising damp and this need is also required for research in dealing with this issue. Only a standard regulation dealing with remediation of wet masonry using chemical injection is directive WTA 4-4-04 / D – Injection of masonry against capillary moisture. From this point of view there is a clear need for further development in this area.
The issue of new fly ash aerated concrete production
Bednárik, Vít ; Janovský, Radek (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with the possibility of laboratory verification of the influence of feedstock character, especially lime and fly ash, on quality of fly ash aerated concrete. The experimental study involves taking a series of samples autoclaved and non-autoclaved aerated concrete during two pilot plant verification in the factory. After removal of autoclaved and non-autoclaved aerated concrete samples they were tested and compared with results of non-autoclaved aerated concrete produced in the laboratory. Methodology of comparison technologically-produced autoclaved aerated concrete and laboratory-produced non-autoclaved aerated concrete was designed based on achieved findings.

Development of chemically resistant sprayed mixture
Hermann, Radek ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Production wastes for which a direct use in another production is found become secondary raw materials. There are several institutions in Czech Republic and in the world, which are currently dealing with the issue. This thesis deals with the issue of cementitious spray concrete mixtures and deals with the possibilities of using secondary raw materials and waste from production as partial replacement of binder and filler in these mixtures. The aim of this theses is to optimize the composition of additives in the recipe of the commercially produced pray mixture and to verify the influence of the degree of substitution of binder or filler by secondary raw materials on its physical-mechanical properties. The aim is to maintain or increase these properties while substituting the binder and filler as much as possible. After the evaluation of results, it is possible to say, by suitable optimization of the additives it is possible to achieve a significant improvement of the physical-mechanical properties of the mass and furthermore, from the results of this thesis follows, that by substitution of 100% fine filler in combination with substitution of 30% binder it is possible to maintain or increase the physical-mechanical properties after 28 days of curing and to significantly increase these properties after 90 days of curing. The results of this thesis are also related to the reduction of economic impact on production of the spray mixture, mainly due to the use of secondary raw materials.
