Modelling of brain tissue influence on wave propagation i human skull after impact loading
Pešek, Luděk ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Eduard
The contribution deals with the analysis of wawe propagation in human skull filled by a folling which simulates the brain tissue. The results are compared with the original experimental data, which where obtained by the laser- Doppler anemometry and the double pulse holointerferometry.
Optical method in diagnostic of transient dynamic responses in human skull
Dvořáková, Pavla ; Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Jan
The paper deals with the study of stress wave propagation in a human skull. Impact was generated both focused ruby laser beam and exploding wires. Transient dynamic responses were studied by means of double pulse holointerferometry and laser interferometry. in the research was paid attention to the evaluation of stress wave propagation velocity and tha result of both optical methods were compared. The study assists in the design of useful medical solutions.
Výzkum šíření napěťových vln v lidské lebce metodami optické interferometrie
Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Jan ; Dvořáková, Pavla
The paper deals withthe research of stress wave propagation in the human skull. Transient state is generated by exploding wires. The response on impact loading is evaluted by double-pulse holointerferometry and by laserinterferometry.
Numerical and experimental study of stress wave propagation in thin steel plate
Kolman, R. ; Kuliš, Z. ; Trnka, Jan ; Plešek, Jiří ; Pták, Svatopluk
The paper deals with the research wave propagation in the thin isotropic plate. The problem is solved both numerically and experimantally. The full- fiel visualisation of the displacements caused by generated waves was carried out by double-pulse holointerferometry. The perpendicular impact to the surface of the plate was generated by means of a sample with an exploding wire. The numerical and experimental results are compared and discused.
Dynamic responses of plate and shell structures studied by nondestructive testing methods
Trnka, Jan ; Landa, Michal ; Dvořáková, Pavla
The advanced non-destructive testing of shell structures is conditioned to characterisation of guided waves propagating in a thin-wall solid. is very important from this point of view to know the response of these elements on different type of a loading. therefore the new powerful diagnostic methods are continouslz developed.
Optical methods of generation and detection of ultrasound wave in thin-wall structures
Trnka, Jan ; Landa, Michal
Double pulse holointerferometry and laser interferometry were used to study guided waves propagation in thin-wall structures. The full-field visualisation of the displacements caused by generated waves was carried out by DPHI with ruby laser like a s ce of light and the source of quided waves in different time after impact. The time history of displacements and velocities was detected noncontactly in the points on the surface by vibrometr Polytec.
Impact transient responses of human skull with and without the model of the brain tissue
Pešek, Luděk ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Trnka, Jan
The developed finite element model of the human skull is used for analysis of transient phenomena after impact loading of the skull. Two methods of numerical simulation of the time response are described. The results are compared with the original experiments.
Guided wave problems were studied by numerical and experimental methods
Kačor, Aleš ; Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Eduard
Finite element method was used to analyze guided wave propagation in a thin steel plate. Numerical results were compared with experimental data obtained by double pulse holointerferometry.
Dynamic behaviour of the human skull
Horáček, Jaromír ; Veselý, Jan ; Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Eduard ; Vohradník, M.
Original experimental results of the vibration modal analysis, time-average and double pulse holography measurement of the human skull are presented. Two different skulls were tested in the laboratory and the results of both measurements are compared. The influence of the soft tissues was modelled as well.
Experimental and numerical investigation of bending wave propagation in thin steel plate
Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Eduard ; Kačor, Aleš ; Plešek, Jiří
Double pulse holointerferometry was used for studying the elastic wave propagation in a thin steel plate. The experimental results are compared with the finite element solution.
