Population list according to religious belief in the domaine of Trutnov
Tomková, Adéla ; Zahradník, Pavel (referee) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main subject of this work is to analyse demographic, social and religious trends in the domain of Trutnov after the end of the Thirty Years' War. For this purpose I made use of the Population list according to religious belief from 1651, as a primary resource, which allows a deeper understanding of the state of affairs at the Trutnov domain. As the origin of this List is closely related to the recatholisation efforts, in the initial part of my work , I presented a brief introduction to the religious development at the domain in the post - Battle of White Mountain period. In my work I focused mainly on the analysis of some demographic indicators such as stratification of society based upon age, age difference between spouses or sex ratio. In relation to the religious belief of Trutnov's residents I focused also on the adoption of non-Catholic belief by their children, who not always shared their parents' faith. The last part of my thesis deals with the number of domesticsand their sex distribution, as well as with the role of crafts, suffering from the negative impact of the Thirty Years' War. For this task I used the tax register "Berní rula" for comparison.
The phenomenon of the strong position of labour parties in Norway, Sweden and Denmark
Hluchá, Tereza ; Braun, Mats Rickard (advisor) ; Brunclík, Miloš (referee)
Summary: My thesis deals with the unique phenomenon of the strong position of the labour parties in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. These parties have held a position of a dominant party in the Scandinavian party systems for several decades from the late 1930s till the 1970s which is a remarkable achievement among the Western European political parties. The phenomenon of the strong position of labour parties in Norway, Sweden and Denmark The key to the phenomenal success of the Norwegian Labor Party, the Swedish Social Democrats and the Danish Social Democrats have been particularly high party identification of voters. The success of the welfare state also lies in the widespread feeling that everyone benefits from this state policy not only the poor. These party systems had been due to its stable and unchanging character described as "frozen party systems". The frozen part of the party systems in that period represented an average of about 85% of the votes in Norway and Denmark. In the case of Sweden the figure was even higher - about 94% of all votes. In the case of Norway and Sweden, the Social Democrats as predominant party held even up to 30% more seats than the second strongest political party. In such an environment it is almost impossible for a newly established political group to enter the party system....
Documents to the history of the Napoleonic Wars at the family archives of Kinský. To the Czech ancestors of prince Józef Poniatowski
Švehelka, Ondřej ; Mikulec, Jiří (referee) ; Bělina, Pavel (advisor)
This paper regards two mutually linked objectives. The first of them is to picture the history of the old and significant dynasty of Kinský in the eighteenth century and during the Napoleonic Wars, which is supposed to back up the second and main objective, namely to describe the lifetimes of a few ancestors of the Polish prince and army-leader Józef Poniatowski, who was in service of Napoleon's armies, and who died in 1813 at the Battle of Leipzig. These ancestors were his parents Andrzej Poniatowski and Marie Terezie Kinská, following her father Jan Leopold Kinský of the Chlumec count stem. Andrzej Poniatowski and Leopold Kinský embody a certain similarity - they both have been wrongfully effaced; while Andrzej by his son, Leopold by his more famous ancestors who notably affected the Habsburg Empire in the end of the seventeenth and in the first half of the eighteenth century. I would like to, therefore, point out the importance of these two men, too.
Unpolitical portrait of Charles the Elder of Žerotín
Vilímcová, Zuzana ; Holý, Martin (referee) ; Šedivá Koldinská, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with non-political aspects of the life of Charles the Elder of Žerotín, which is not so mapped in detail contrary of the political life. I try to restore Charles's personal and private life base on the huge amount of his correspondence. I am concerned with Charles roles of loving husband, worried father, a good friend and counsellor, a deeply believed Christian, constantly sick man and also the master of his lieges people. I try to find answers on what Charles was the father. Whether he liked all his wives. How the religious coercion works on him. How to cope with the iniquities of his dominions. Whether or not hesitated to help friends in need, and how he coped with his illness. I try to find answers to these questions and more in the Žerotín's letters and selected correspondence of persons from its surroundings. I illustrates the whole picture by comparing the findings of earlier historiography.
Miroslav Kárný. Study about influence of ideology and political power on individual in the years 1919-1974
Tesař, Jan ; Pullmann, Michal (referee) ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor)
The study is about life of Miroslav Kárný in years 1919-1974. The creation of mental maps and influence of ideology on the individual human being was one of the main subjects. In the first part I have explored the life of M. Kárný in ghetto Teresienstadt with special attention to effects of "Endlösung der Judenfrage". Furthermore, the options of possible resistance in the ghetto were studied. The second part is about forming M. Kárný's public opinions under communist ideology, which was accepted by him without hesitation. Lastly, the study is about destruction of fundaments of secular belief in the age of totalitarism
The West-Berlin question and foreign policy of the FRG 1969-1974
Hrušková, Ivana ; Soukup, Jaromír (referee) ; Horčička, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor work The West-Berlin question and foreign policy of the FRG, 1969-1974 analyses the foreign policy of the Federal Government of FRG in Brandt's era. The aim of Brandt's Ostpolitik was the normalization of relations with GDR and other Eastern Block states. The Federal Government was working on conclusion of renunciation of force and renunciation of the threat of force treaties with these countries in the first half of the 70's. The easing of tension in Europe would be unattainable without an agreement regulating conditions in Berlin. Therefore, the work is also concerned with mutual relations between USA and USSR and with their impact on inter-German relations and the situation in Berlin.
Quality control management of extracorporeal circulation with Data management system
Fichtl, Jaromír ; Mašín, Jaroslav (referee) ; Rulíšek, Jan (advisor)
During extracorporeal circulation are typical fluctuation of parameters of basic life functions. These variations of values can have a direct impact on postoperative recovery. May even lead to temporary or permanent damage to organ function. Mean arterial pressure is one of the basic unit of tissue perfusion. If there is a drop in mean arterial pressure below 50 mmHg, there may be organs hypoperfusion associated with desaturation of venous blood. In our study focused on gathering data in the management of cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac procedures by using the data collection would Stocker De. We focus on course of the values of mean arterial pressure and actual venous blood oxygen saturation. The group included 45 patients meet the criteria: valve surgery, surgery is an operating room No.3, surgery in normothermia. In 22 patients were recorded during cardiopulmonary bypass hypotension for more than four minutes ( Group A). In the remaining 23 patients the episode of hypotension has not been reported (Group B). Both groups were compared. We compared the average time of hospitalization, the average time of intubation and the incidence of neurological complications. The average time of hospitalization was in Group A - 180 hours, Group B - 210 hours. The average time of intubation was in Group A - 114...
Use of microwave technique for the assessment of hydration status in dialysis patient
Brožíková, Zuzana ; Slovák, Petr (referee) ; Lopot, František (advisor)
The task of this work was to evaluate the possibility of using microwave sensors to assess hydration status in dialysis patients. For this purpose it was necessary to evaluate existing methods of monitoring fluid balance and determining the optimal postdialysis weight (dry weight) in dialysis patients, become acquainted with contemporary equipment techniques for monitoring blood volume and study the possibilities of microwave technology for monitoring of changes in tissue hydration. To confirm the usefulness of this original method was performed in GHz measurements in vivo, which was divided into three parts - measuring a group of healthy subjects, measuring a group of dialysis patients during hemodialysis (HD) and additional measurements. When the sensor were applicated on the forearm changes in resonant frequency, quality factor or Q-factor and the amplitude changes were observed. In healthy subjects assessed the effects of sex, age and BMI (body mass index). In dialysis patients were evaluated correlations of observed GHz parameters changes compared with data obtained by ultrafiltration indicated by dialysis machine. Both groups were supplemented by bioimpedance spectroscopic examination. Additional measurements was verifying factors that could affect the reproducibility and the resulting value (the...
Monitoring compensation of patients with cystinuria by spectrophotometric method
Leitner, Martin ; Hyánek, Josef (referee) ; Chrastina, Petr (advisor)
The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of cystinuria, hereditary metabolic disorder of transport of dibasic amino acids. The objective of the thesis was to select a spectrophotometric method of determining cystine in urine, to find the most suitable conditions for determining cystine in a clinical laboratory and to apply the method on samples of urine of patients with cystinuria. For determining cystine in urine, the method using coloured red and violet product of cystine reaction was selected after reduction to cystine with ninhydrin agent in acid environment. Absorption spectra of standard of cystine and urine in a patient with cystinuria were measured with the maximum at 560 nm. Interference of ornithine and other amino acids was excluded. Kinetics of reduction of cystine to cysteine was measured. The most suitable time of reduction is 5 minutes, in longer time cysteine is oxidized to cystine. Kinetics of creation of a coloured product was measured. The maximum absorption in heating the reaction mix with ninhydrin to 100řC was reached after 10 minutes, later only degradation processes and absorbance reduction takes place. Stability of a coloured product of reaction in light was tested. The product is stable for ten minutes, then absorbance drops by 8% after 45 minutes. Linearity of...
