SMV-2023-51: Cryogenic attributies of selected products
Srnka, Aleš ; Hanzelka, Pavel ; Krutil, Vojtěch
Thermal flows between hotter and colder parts of special components of cryogenic machines during different border temperatures were measured. Experimental results were compared with theoretical calculations. Onward was tested vacuum leak of different types of cryogenic seals up to pressure 30 bar. Research reports were passed on to contractor. Measurements were conducted in apparatuses, newly designed and developed in the ÚPT AV ČR, v. v. i.
SMV-2023-57: EM analysis of microorganisms II
Hrubanová, Kamila
The aim of the contract research was the expert analysis of microbiological samples with biotechnological significance with the intention of describing the ultrastructure of the cells, which depends on the cultivation conditions of the industrial process. The collaboration included cryogenic preparation of samples, followed by microbial microscopy using low-temperature electron microscopy (cryo-SEM), and selected samples were processed for transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Furthermore, spectroscopic measurements were performed using Raman spectroscopy.
SMV-2023-56: EM analysis of microorganisms
Hrubanová, Kamila
The aim of the contract research was the expert analysis of microbiological samples with the intention of describing morphological changes dependent on culture conditions.
SMV-2023-54: EM Nematodes II 2023
Hrubanová, Kamila
The aim of the contract research was the expert analysis of biological samples with the intention of describing morphological features for species classification. As part of the collaboration, chemical preparation of the samples was carried out, followed by observation of the bodies of the nematodes themselves in different positions so that individual morphological characters could be distinguished using an electron microscope.
SMV-2023-55: EM Nematodes I 2023

The aim of the contract research was the expert analysis of biological samples with the intention of describing morphological features for species classification. As part of the collaboration, chemical preparation of the samples was carried out, followed by observation of the bodies of the nematodes themselves in different positions so that individual morphological characters could be distinguished using an electron microscope.
SMV-2023-50: Fast hologram generation software development
Jákl, Petr ; Šerý, Mojmír
Development of a software package for fast hologram generation in Python scripting environment and C/C++. The software allows for the creation of multiple foci in the focal plane and the generation of optical vortices on a pure phase spatial light modulator.
SMV-2023-49: Optical tweezers upgrade
Jákl, Petr ; Šerý, Mojmír
Modification and improvement of the procedures for controlling the custom-built optical tweezers apparatus, optimization of the procedures for the hardware control and ensuring compatibility with Windows 10 and LabVIEW 2016.
SMV-2023-43: Madnat_3D_WAAM
Mrňa, Libor
3D printing of ER120 high-strength steel test samples using the WAAM method.
SMV-2023-48: Jimalu_Las_quench
Mrňa, Libor
Laser thermal surface treatments of nitrided layers on corrosion-resistant austenitic-martensitic precipitation-hardenable duplex steels X5CrNiCuNb16-4.
SMV-2023-47: PBS_DLT_Picofabrication
Mrňa, Libor ; Novotný, Jan
Verification of the production possibilities of specified parts from austenitic stainless steel 1.4541 by laser picosecond micromachining.
