The diploma thesis deals with assessment of the information system of selected company which focuses on providing services in financial field. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical background and analytical methods are presented, which are used in the analytical part. The second part of the thesis presents the company, its analysis and information system analysis. Based on this, the final part of the thesis proposes a change that leads to the efficiency of processes in the company and to the elimination of detected deficiencies.

Vliv zavedení eura na Slovensku na přímé zahraniční investice a zahraniční obchod: srovnání s ČR.

The aim of this work is the determination of the impact of introduction of the euro in Slovakia on foreign direct investment and foreign trade and subsequent comparison with the situation in the Czech Republic, which has not adopted euro yet. In review of the literature, there are presented the views of experts which focused on the introduction of the euro on these indicators. The other part is dedicated to professional studies with respect to economic crisis in the time of the introduction of the euro in Slovakia. Further the analysis of the time series is made through the programme Gretl. Results of the analysis are critically compared with the views of experts in the discussion section of this work.
