Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou informačních a komunikačních technologií, konkrétně jejich postavením a vlivem na světovou ekonomiku. Dále je práce orientována na popis a potřebu ICT produktů v podniku, charakteristiku informačních systémů a systémových modulů. Práce se dále specializuje na proces zavádění informačního systému v podniku a to jak teoreticky, tak následně prakticky. Celý proces je situačně uveden na příkladu výrobního podniku Meopta -- optika, s.r.o., přičemž z důvodu nutnosti integrace nového systému se systémy stávajícími, uvádím také jejich přehled. Souběžně s touto problematikou je zmíněn proces implementace nového systému v rámci inovace systému stávajícího; přechod na novou verzi IS. Cílem práce je zdůraznění role ICT ve světové ekonomice. Dále je práce vedena konkrétněji na teoretický popis a praktickou ukázku funkcionality informačních systémů a jejich zavádění v podniku v případě nového IS, popř. inovace stávajícího IS přechodem na novou verzi. Zdrojem informací pro zpracování bakalářské práce byla především odborná literatura a účast na přednáškách z oblasti ICT. Dále webové stránky zaměřené na danou problematiku. V neposlední řadě konzultace s vedoucí práce a odborníky ze společnosti Meopta -- optika, s.r.o. Thesis deals with information and communication technologies, specifically their position and influence on the world economy. Further work is focused on the description and the need for information systems in business, characteristics of information systems and some system modules. Specifically the work focuses on the process of implementing an information system in business, both theoretically and then practically. The whole process is shown in the example situational manufacturing company Meopta -- Optics, Inc. Because of the necessity to integrate the new system with existing systems I present an overview of existing systems as well. In parallel with this issue is mentioned the process of implementing a new system within the existing innovation system, the transition to a new version of IS. The goal is to highlight the role of ICT in the global economy. Further work is directed specifically at the theoretical description and practical demonstration of the functionality of information systems and their implementation in the company in case of new IS, or innovation of the existing IS transition to the new version. The source of information for the bachelor's work was mainly specialist literature and attending lectures in the field of ICT. Furthermore I used website focused on the issue. Finally I used to consultation with the supervisor and experts from the company Meopta -- Optics, Inc.
