Tato práce si klade otázku, zda spotřeba domácností v ČR a SR závisí na absolutním důchodu nebo na relativním důchodu. Regresní analýza prokázala, že spotřební chování domácností v ČR a v SR spíše odpovídá modelu absolutního důchodu. Analýza prokázala, že spotřeba českých ani slovenských není v souladu s teorií relativního důchodu. Lze říci, že disponibilní důchod je na základě těchto modelů jeden z hlavních ovlivňujících faktorů spotřeby v ČR a SR. Naopak zpožděná spotřeba je nevýznamný ovlivňující faktor. This work answers the question, whether household consumption in the Czech Republic and Slovakia depends on absolute income or relative income. Regression analysis showed that the consumption of Czech and Slovak households is consistent with the original Keynesian consumption function. Consumption behavior of Czech households is thus consistent with hypothesis of absolute income. Disposable income is the main factor affecting consumption in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, while the influence of lagged consumption is found insignificant.
