Práce se zabývá hodnocením dopadů masivní sportovní akce, které jsou v tomto případě běžecké závody organizované společností Prague International Marathon v Praze. Cílem práce je co nejobjektivněji zhodnotit dopady masivní sportovní akce a ověřit hypotézu, že pořádání sportovní akce může mít pozitivní dopad na cestovní ruch dané země. Teoretická část objasňuje základní přístupy začlenění sportovní akce do systému cestovního ruchu, věnuje se typologii sportovních akcí a analyzuje působení vlivů s ohledem na jednotlivé aspekty dopadů sportovní akce. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na podrobnou analýzu dopadů běžeckých závodů PIMu na cestovní ruch. Cílem je kvantifikovat počet účastníků, prozkoumat jejich strukturu z hlediska domácích a zahraničních, vypočítat ekonomický dopad, prověřit mediální pokrytí a zmapovat společenské dopady akce. The thesis deals with the assessment of the sporting events impact. The main aim is to assess the impact of the running races organized by Prague International Marathon objectively and to verify the hypothesis that organizing sporting events can have a positive impact on tourism of the country. The theoretical part explains the basic approaches of sport tourism and deals with the typology of the sporting events. The practical part analyses the impact of the PIM running races on tourism. The aim is to quantify the number of participants, to examine their structure, to calculate the economic impact, to examine media coverage and the social impact of the events.
