Práce se zabývá americkou zahraniční politikou v izraelsko-palestinském konfliktu s důrazem na současný vývoj. V první kapitole jsou shrnuty dějiny zahraniční politiky Spojených států a zdůrazněny nejdůležitější mezníky americko-izraelských vztahů. Ve druhé kapitole se práce zaměřuje na tzv. výjimečný vztah mezi Izraelem a Spojenými státy, včetně nejrůznějších forem americké zahraniční pomoci. Třetí kapitola se soustředí na administrativu Baracka Obamy, jeho ambice, shrnutí výsledků jeho politky za první dva roky jeho mandátu a naděje na řešení izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu. This bachelor thesis deals with the american foreign policy in israeli-palestinian conflict with emphasis on recent development. The first part summarizes the history of U.S. foreign policy and highlights the main milestones of U.S.-Israeli relations. In the second part the thesis describes so called special relationship between Israel and United States, including different forms of american foreign aid. The third part focuses on the administration of Barack Obama, his ambitions and aims, results of the first two years of his mandate and prospects for the resolution of israeli-palestinian conflict.
