Cieľom diplomovej práce je objasniť dôležitosť diverzifikácie investičných portfólií pomocou drahých kovov v súčasnej dobe a analyzovať trh drahých kovov z hľadiska dopytu, ponuky a cenového vývoja. Jadro práce sa zameriava na analýzu vývoja trhu drahých kovov v rokoch 1998 až 2011. V práci je použitá metóda komparácie drahých kovov medzi sebou a svetovými akciovými indexmi, metóda analýzy pri samostatných výpočtoch ukazovateľov, metóda dedukcie z výsledkov výpočtov. Cílem diplomové práce je objasnit význam diverzifikace investičních portfolií pomocí drahých kovů v současné době a analyzovat trh drahých kovů z hlediska poptávky, nabídky a cenového vývoje. Jádro práce se zaměřuje na analýzu vývoje trhu drahých kovů v letech 1998 až 2011. V práci je použitá metoda komparace drahých kovů mezi sebou a světovými akciovými indexy, metoda analýzy při samostatných výpočtech ukazatelů, metoda dedukce z výsledků výpočtů. The aim of the thesis is to clarify the importance of diversifying investment portfolios with the help of precious metals at the present time and to analyze the fluctuation of precious metals market in terms of demand, supply and price developments. The core of the thesis focuses on analysis of the market of precious metals from 1998 to 2011 The used work method is comparison of precious metals between themselves and the world stock indices, the method of analysis in separate calculations of indicators, the method of deduction from the results of calculations.
