Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit čtenáři čerpání strukturálních fondů EU v oblasti dopravy ve Středočeském kraji. V práci jsou definovány hlavní cíle Evropské unie v oblasti regionálního rozvoje a jsou zde stanoveny nástroje, kterými jsou potlačovány disparity regionů. Stanovené hypotézy objasňují efektivnost při čerpání přidělených prostředků. Zároveň práce přibližuje rizika, která mohou vzniknout během administrativních úkonů nebo při samotné realizaci projektu. The aim of this BA thesis is to acquaint the reader with the means of drawing upon the structural funds of the European Union in the field of transport in the Central Bohemian Region. The thesis sets out the main aims of the European Union in the field of regional development and explains how disparities between regions are eliminated. The stated hypotheses demonstrate the effectiveness of these tools when it comes to drawing on the allotted facilities. At the same time the thesis points out the risks which may arise during administrative procedures or while the project is being implemented.
