Jak je patrné ze zadání, cílem této práce je uvést historii vývoje OpenOffice.org Writer a kromě porovnání s ostatními srovnatelnými produkty také uvést vliv OpenOffice.org na trh s tímto druhem softwaru a hlavně vytvoření online materiálů s radami nejen jak používat tento textový procesor, ale i jak přejít z konkurenčních programů. Největší část je věnována přechodu z MS Word, který pokrývá značnou část trhu. Kromě rad typu "Kde najdu v OpenOffice.org tuto funkci" je součástí i problematika importu a exportu dokumentů napsaných ve Wordu (konkrétně DOC a RTF). The goal of this project is to introduce the history of OpenOffice.org development, it's comparsion with other similar products and also it's influence on the market with this type of software. The second part is dedicated to creation of online materials with tutorials and hints how to use OpenOffice.org Writer or how to move from other text proccesors. The biggest part of this section is covered by hints for moving from MS Word which covers a large portion of the market. Except the hints like "Where will I find this function in OpenOffice.org Writer" there will also be information about problems related to importing and exporting MS Word file formats (specificly DOC and RTF).
