Výuka geologie na českých základních a středních školách se skládá z několika dílčích povinných tematických celků stanovených Rámcovými vzdělávacími programy. Přesto jsou některá témata ve výuce často vynechávána i přes to, že jsou v učebnicích obsažena. Jedním z takových témat je Vývoj zemské kůry a organismů na Zemi. V rámci bakalářské práce byla provedena rešerše dostupných učebnic pro ZŠ a SŠ se zaměřením právě na toto téma. Téma je diskutováno z hlediska vzdělávacího obsahu, konkrétně výskytu a vysvětlení klíčových pojmů, konkrétního vybraného učiva a jednotlivých geologických období. Dále byla okrajově posuzována názornost interpretace tohoto tématu, mezipředmětové vztahy a doplňkové informace, otázky a úkoly pro žáky. Na základě získaných informací byl navržen jeden výukový blok, který po didaktické stránce vychází z konstruktivistického přístupu a respektuje současné požadavky na moderní pojetí vyučování tak, aby podpořil zájem o dané téma a pomohl jej zprostředkovat žákům i učitelům atraktivnějším způsobem. Teaching geology at lower and upper secondary school level in the Czech Republic consists of several compulsory thematic units established by the Framework Educational Programmes. Nevertheless, some topics are often not taught, despite they are included in textbooks. One of them is e.g. The Evolution of the Earth's Crust and Organisms on Earth. In this bachelor thesis the available textbooks are analysed according to this topic. The topic is discussed in terms of educational content, namely the occurrence and explanation of key concepts, selected subject matter and individual geological periods. Furthermore, the clarity of interpretation of this topic, cross curricular and interdisciplinary relations and additional information and questions for pupils were analysed. Based on the obtained information, one block of lessons was designed. It follows constructivist approach to learning and respects the current requirements for the modern concept of teaching. Main aim of the proposed lessons is to support the interest in chosen topic and to convey it to pupils and teachers in a more attractive way.
