Studie se zabývá životním příběhem Antonína Vlacha (1905-1997), významné, ale i kontroverzní osobnosti české antikomunistické exilové literární scény v letech 1948-1968. Autor si klade za cíl prohloubit a dokončit Vlachův portrét, který nastínil v knize Prvních dvacet let (2008), mapující vývoj literárního měsíčníku Sklizeň vydávaného Antonínem Vlachem v Hamburku v letech 1953-1969. V této studii autor přináší dosud nepublikované údaje o Vlachových aktivitách v exilu před a po období Sklizně a snaží se uvést na pravou míru nepřesnosti a mystifikace uveřejňované v různých časových obdobích v exilových periodikách. Autor podává důkaz o spolupráci Antonína Vlacha s nacisty za protektorátu (1939-1945) a také o jeho pokusu o spolupráci s komunistickou tajnou policií v roce 1983. This study deals with the life story of Antonín Vlach (1905-1997), a remarkable, but also controversial, personality on the Czech anti-communist exile literary scene 1948-1968. The author aims to enhance and complete Vlach's portrait which he sketched in his book Prvních dvacet let (The First Twenty Years, 2008), mapping the development of the literary monthly Sklizeň (The Harvest), published by Antonín Vlach in Hamburg from 1953 to 1969. In the present study, the author comes up with hitherto unpublished facts about Vlach's activities in exile before and after the period of Sklizeň and tries to rectify inaccuracies and mystifications published about Antonín Vlach in exile periodicals at various times; he gives evidence of Vlach's collaboration with the Nazis during the Protectorate (1939-1945) and also of his attempt to cooperate with the communist secret police in 1983.
