Kojení je přirozeným způsobem výživy savčích mláďat a nejinak je tomu u lidských novorozenců. Krom samotné výživy má kojení široké spektrum dalších pozitivních jak fyziologických, tak psychologických dopadů na matku i potomka. Zahájení kojení i jeho úspěšné pokračování může ovlivňovat mnoho faktorů (BMI, konzumace alkoholu v těhotenství či raný kontakt novorozence s matkou). Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, do jaké míry ovlivňují kontakt matky a dítěte a zdravotnické postupy v rané poporodní péči dobu nástupu laktace. Dalším cílem bylo odhalit jiné možné faktory, které mají na zahájení laktace vliv. U celého souboru byl z poporodních praktik zjištěn signifikantní vliv přiložení dítěte k prsu na porodním sále na zkrácení doby od porodu do zahájení laktace. Dále se ukázal signifikantní pozitivní vztah mezi paritou a BMI před otěhotněním a zahájením laktace a negativní s přítomností blízké osoby na sále a onemocnění během těhotenství. Za účelem popisu poporodní péče na oddělení šestinedělí s ohledem na zahájení kojení byla provedena týdenní stáž na oddělení. Některé faktory můžeme ovlivnit informovaností ve společnosti a ranou poporodní péčí. In addition to nutrition itself, breastfeeding has a wide range of other positive effects on the mother and her child. Many factors can influence the onset of breastfeeding and its successful continuation (BMI, alcohol consumption during pregnancy or early mother-infant contact). The main aim of this thesis was to test the effect of mother-newborn contact and the medical procedures in early postpartum care on the onset of lactation. Further, we aimed to investigate other possible factors that influence the initiation of lactation. We found that attaching newborn to the breast in the delivery room significantly decreased the time from birth to the onset of lactation. Moreover, the onset of lactation was significantly positively affected by parity, BMI before pregnancy and negatively by presence of a close person in the delivery room, and illness during pregnancy. To investigate breastfeeding-related postpartum care, we carried out a one week internship at the maternity hospital.
