Následující diplomová práce Role experta ve fotbalových televizních přenosech se zabývá specifickým a poněkud neukotveným prvkem sportovní žurnalistiky, kterým jsou televizní experti. Prostřednictvím originálních skutečností a v Česku dosud nepopsaných příběhů nastiňuje vývoj jejich pozice v zahraničí, díky původním rozhovorům s předními osobnostmi z oboru pak může nabídnout i ucelený pohled na jejich činnost v tuzemských médiích, a to se zvláštním zaměřením na fotbalové přenosy. Na základě získaných informací vysvětluje, proč jsou experti pro sportovní žurnalistiku důležití a platní, ale zároveň poukazuje na možné nedostatky, jež s sebou přítomnost odborníků přináší. Rozebírá například i proměnu kritérií, která televize při výběrů expertů zohledňovala v minulosti a která upřednostňuje nyní. Zabývá se jejich povinnostmi, úkoly, jak ve studiu, tak na komentátorském stanovišti, i citlivými tématy, jež se s působením expertů vážou, a v neposlední řadě zkoumá motivaci samotných sportovců, kteří po ukončení svých aktivních kariér do médií míří. Zjišťuje, čím je pro ně právě tento směr atraktivní. Hlavní metodou při zpracování materiálu jsou hloubkové polostrukturované rozhovory. This diploma thesis The role of a pundit in football television broadcasting focuses on television pundits, the specific and relatively undefined phenomenon of sports journalism. The first part outlines the development of pundits within the history of sports journalism in the world. The second part offers a comprehensive view of the work of sports pundits in Czech media through semi-structured in-depth interviews with experts from the field. For example, the thesis examines the importance of pundits in sports broadcasting and focuses on their work in the studio as well as in the commentary box. At the same time, it points out possible issues and sensitive topics that are connected with their role. The thesis also examines the motivation of athletes who became pundits. Its main focus is on football television broadcasting.
