Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl popsat informační potřeby a informační chování studentů historických oborů na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v kontextu oborové knihovny Historického kabinetu. V úvodu práce je představena knihovna, počátky jejího vzniku, rozdělení univerzity a výstavba nové budovy. Další část se věnuje vysvětlení pojmů informační potřeba a informačního chování spolu s vybranými souvisejícími pojmy. Poslední část práce tvoří kvalitativní výzkum založený na strukturovaných rozhovorech se studenty historie, v němž bylo zkoumáno, jakým způsobem uspokojuje Historický kabinet jejich studijní informační potřeby. This bachelor thesis focuses on information need and information behaviour of history students at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in a context of a department library called the History Cabinet. The first part introduces the library, its origins, the separation of the university, and a construction of a new faculty building. The next part describes the terms information need and information behaviour along with other selected phenomena. The last part consists of a qualitative research based on structured interviews with the history students in which is examined how the library satisfies students' information needs.
