Abstract: In this study, we characterized a canopy by several methods and we found the best relationship between spatialvariation of canopy and throughfall volume. We validatedthe spatial variability of throughfall volumeandwe foundthat GFr is more appropriate parameter to use for more accurate estimation of throughfall volume than LAI and LPI.
