Tématem mé bakalářské práce je komparace dvou komunistických režimů v Československu a Rumunsku. Při bližším zkoumání zjistíme, že se tyto dva režimy od sebe velice odlišují. Tyto dvě země jsem si vybrala záměrně, jako příklady dvou extrémů. Na jedné straně Československo, jako příklad hladké demokratizace bez jakýchkoliv větších konfliktů. A na straně druhé Rumunsko se svým tak atypickým režimem a násilným koncem komunistické éry. Časový rámec této práce bude v případě Rumunska rok 1969 (nástup Nicolae Ceausesca k moci) až do roku 1990. V tomto roce se konaly první svobodné volby. Časové rozmezí v případě Československa bude rok 1970 (počátek normalizace) až rok 1990, v tomto roce se také konaly první svobodné volby do parlamentu. Věnovat se budu popisu režimu v jednotlivých zemích, představení atmosféry v roce 1989 v Rumunsku i Československu a následnému popisu konce komunistického režimu v obou zemích a cestu k prvním svobodným volbám. The subject of my bachelor's thesis is a comparison of the two communist regimes of Czechoslovakia and Romania. Upon closer examination, we find that these two regimes differed significantly from one another. I chose these two countries consciously as examples of two extremes. On the one hand, Czechoslovakia is an example of the smooth transition to democracy without any greater conflict. On the other hand, there is Romania with its atypical regime and its violent end to the communist era. For Romania, the timeframe covered by this paper ranges from 1969 (Nicolae Ceaușescu's ascent to power) to 1990, when the first free elections were held in the country. For Czechoslovakia, the timeframe is from 1970 (the start of Normalization) to 1990 - also when the first free parliamentary elections were held. I will describe the regime in each country, the atmosphere in Romania and in Czechoslovakia in 1989, and the end of the communist regime in both countries, including the path to the first free elections.
