Bakalářská práce se zabývá mediálním obrazem T. G. Masaryka na přelomu 19. a 20. století ve vybraných českých médiích na pozadí událostí Hilsnerovy aféry. Text podrobně představuje vybrané mediální výstupy ve sledovaných médiích: Šípy, Katolické listy, Právo lidu, Čas a Národní listy. Následně charakterizuje jejich hlavní odlišné znaky, které byly popsány po komparaci vybraných novinových článků. Práce také obecně seznamuje s obdobím 19. století a českou mediální scénou, kde nechybí základní informace o sledovaných periodikách. Podrobně čtenářům přibližuje proces s L. Hilsnerem od zavraždění A. Hrůzové, přes průběh vyšetřování až po jeho odsouzení. Důkladně je rozebrána i osoba T. G. Masaryka. Práce si kladla za cíl potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu, že vybraná česká média publikovala články o Masarykovi v rozdílném znění. V závěru práce docházíme k verifikaci dané hypotézy, jak již naznačovalo teoretické východisko práce. Periodika Šípy, Katolické listy a Národní listy vytvářely o Masarykovi ve svých článcích často negativní obraz, a to nejen v návaznosti na Hilsnerovu aféru. Právo lidu bylo v počátcích sledovaného období Masarykovi nakloněno, postupně se články staly spíše neutrální. Periodikum Čas zcela zastávalo Masarykova stanoviska a vytvářelo o něm pozitivní obraz, což je také důsledkem jeho... The bachelor thesis deals with the media image of T. G. Masaryk at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in selected Czech media against the background of the Hilsner affair. The text details selected media outcomes in the monitored media: Šípy, Katolické listy, Právo lidu, Čas, Národní listy. Subsequently, it characterizes their main different features, which were described after comparing selected newspaper articles. The thesis also introduces the period of the 19th century and the Czech media scene, where you can find basic information about the monitored periodicals. Paper acquaints readers in detail with the process of L. Hilsner since the murder of A. Hrůzová, through the course of the investigation to his conviction. The person of T. G. Masaryk is also thoroughly analyzed. The aim of the thesis was to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that selected Czech media published articles about Masaryk in different wording. At the end of the work we come to confirm the given hypothesis, as already suggested by the theoretical starting point of the work. The Šípy, Katolické listy and Národní listy periodicals often made a negative image of Masaryk, not only in connection with the Hilsner affair. The Právo lidu was in favor of Masaryk at the beginning of the monitored period, the articles gradually...
