Název: Popularita atletiky u studentů vysokých škol v Praze Cíle: Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit popularitu atletiky u pražských vysokoškolských studentů a na základě toho stanovit doporučení pro Český atletický svaz. Vedlejšími úkoly jsou zjištění aktivního i pasivního zájmu o tento sport a jeho sledovanost v masmédiích. Metody: Pro marketingový výzkum popularity atletiky byla využita metoda elektronického dotazování, která zjišťovala aktivní a pasivní zájem o atletiku, její sledovanost v masmédiích, atraktivitu disciplín atletiky a také získávala názory respondentů na propagaci atletiky, vlivy na její popularitu a také vědomosti v oblasti osobností atletiky. Výsledky: Zjistili jsme, že atletika u studentů vysokých škol v Praze není až tak populární, jejich postoj ale není zcela pesimistický. Mezi aktivním a pasivním zájmem o atletiku existují jisté vazby, ale také existují rozdíly. Studenti spíše nevyhledávají informace o atletice v masmédiích, větší část nechodí ani na stadiony. Mnoho z nich zná hlavně sprintera Usaina Bolta jakožto největší osobnost atletického prostředí. Studenti si myslí, že nedostatečná propagace závodů je jeden z nejvíce negativních vlivů působících na popularitu atletiky a také uvádějí, že by se zlepšením této propagace dala popularita zvýšit. Title: Popularity of athletics among university students in Prague Objectives: The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out popularity of athletics among university students in Prague and based on that to recommend suggestions for the Czech Athletic Federation. The secondary tasks are to find out about active and passive interest in this sport and its mass media viewership. Methods: For the marketing research was used a method of electronic inquiry that determined active and passive interest in athletics, its mass media viewership, attractiveness of athletics disciplines and also obtained respondent's opinion on promotion of athletics, influences on its popularity and also knowledge in the field of personalities in athletics. Results: We found out that athletics is not so popular for students among universities in Prague, but their attitude isn't completely pessimistic. There are certain connections between active and passive interest in athletics, but there are also some differences. Students rather don't search for information about athletics in mass media, most of them also don't attend the stadium.
