Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou energetického využití odpadu. První část je zaměřena na základní informace o odpadu. Konkrétně rozebírá jeho vznik, rozdělení a hierarchii nakládání s odpadem. Následuje bližší pohled na složení komunálního odpadu a jeho vlastnosti jako paliva. Dále jsou popsány některé technologie spojené s termickým zpracováním odpadu. Třetí a čtvrtá kapitola ukazuje a srovnává konkrétní zařízení na energetické využití odpadu v ČR a v zahraničí. Cílem závěrečné části je upozornit na některé ekologické aspekty a pokusit se o jejich objektivní zhodnocení. This bachelor thesis deals with waste-to-energy topic. The first part is focused on basic informations about waste. Specifically about production, distribution and hieararchy of waste management. The following section describes composition and properties of municipal waste as a fuel. This part also evotes some technologies which are used in facilities for the energy use of waste. Third and fourth chapter shows and compares particular waste-to-energy plants in Czech republic and rest of the world. The goal of final part is to warn about some ecological aspects and try to create their objective view.
