This thesis focuses on the transformation of the existing area of the former textile factory Modeta in Jihlava. It also addresses its broader relationships, accessibility and integration into the city’s urban structure. The aim of this work is to create a multifunctional object which will use its local potential and become an important social part of Jihlava. The proposal is divided into two stages that reflect the city’s current requirements. The first stage solves the concept of the existing area in its current state without major construction interventions while using its existing premises. The second stage proposes a detailed design of the multifunctional precinct and an urban solution of the discussed site with a connection to the zoo grounds.
