Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem současné divadelní budovy v kontextu centra města regionálního charakteru. Projekt prezentuje typologicky rozsáhlý divadelní provoz v architektonické formě, která i přes význam budovy nenarušuje svým měřítkem prostorové uspořádání a kontext vybrané lokality. Stávající Slovácké divadlo má v současnosti dvě scény ve dvou různých objektech, které nebyly postaveny jako budovy divadelní. Návrh nové budovy má nahradit toto provizorium. Nové Slovácké divadlo navrhuji s ambicí prezentovat projekt svébytného divadla moderního provozu, odpovídajícího významu a kapacity města Uherského Hradiště. Po obsáhlé přípravě a studiu divadelní architektury v ČR jsem prostorovými analýzami s aplikací divadelní typologie vyhodnotil lokalitu v blízkosti centra města pro stavbu nového Slováckého divadla jako nejpříhodnější. The thesis deals with the design of the contemporary theatre building in the context of the city centre of regional character. The project presents a typologically extensive theatre operation in architectural form which, despite the importance of the building, does not by its scale disturb the spatial arrangement and context of the selected locality. The present Slovácko Theatre currently has two scenes in two different buildings that were not originally built as theatre buildings. The design of the new building is supposed to replace the provisional structures. My design of the new Slovácko Theatre building has the ambition to represent a distinctive theatre of modern operation, corresponding to the importance and capacity of the town of Uherské Hradiště. After extensive preparation and study of theatre architecture in the Czech Republic, with the application of spatial analyses and theatre typology, it was the location near the city centre that I evaluated as the most suitable for the construction of the new Slovácko Theatre.
