Táto práca je rozdelená na dve časti. Prvá časť sa zaoberá historickým vývojom a základným rozdelením prúdových motorov, následne ich konštrukciou a termodynamikou. Druhá časť je zameraná predovšetkým na nové trendy vo vývoji, či už sa jedná o 3D tlač alebo alternatívne palivá v leteckom priemysle. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the historical development and the primary division of jet engines followed by their construction and thermodynamics. The second part mainly focuses on new trends in the development, the 3D printing and alternative fuels used in the aviation industry.
