Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část tvoří překlad úvodu a necelých dvou kapitol z knihy argentinského psychologa a teologa Bernarda Stamatease Gente tóxica: Cómo tratar con las personas que te complican la vida. Jedná se o knihu osobního rozvoje, která je určena pro širokou veřejnost. Autor zde popisuje různé typy osob, které nám mohou komplikovat život. Jsou to například lidé s tendencí manipulovat s ostatními, psychopati, nebo osoby, které si neustále na všechno stěžují, a další. Autor v této publikaci rovněž uvádí rady, jak těmto lidem čelit a nenechat se jimi ovládat. Druhá část obsahuje komentář překladu, v němž jsou na základě překladatelské analýzy originálu uvedeny zvolené překladatelské postupy, problémy, které se během překladu vyskytly, a způsob, jakým byly tyto problémy vyřešeny. The first part contains the Czech translation of the introduction and first two chapters of the book of the Argentine psychologist and theologian Bernardo Stamateas Gente tóxica: Cómo tratar con las personas que te complican la vida. It is a self- help book for the general public. The author describes different types of persons who can complicate our life, for example people with tendencies to manipulate others, psychopaths or people who tend to complain frequently. The author presents some recommendations on how to resist these people and how to prevent them from controlling us. The second part is a commentary where translation procedures, problems encountered while translating and their solutions are described on the basis of the translation analysis of the original text.
