Příspěvek se zabývá exegetickou metodou Mikuláše z Lyry (†1349) založenou na důkladném rozboru doslovného smyslu Písma, která je popsána ve dvou prolozích k jeho nejvýznamnějšímu dílu Postilla litteralis super totam Bibliam. Tato metoda je demonstrována na ve staročeském překladu tohoto Lyrova komentáře k Matoušovu evangeliu (rukopis NK ČR XVII C 20). This paper focuses on Nicholas of Lyra’s (†1349) exegetic method described in the two prologues to his most important opus Postilla litteralis super totam Bibliam, which is based on a thorough analysis of the literal sense of the Scriptures. In this paper, this method of Lyra is demonstrated on the examples of the Old Czech translation of Lyra’s commentary on Matthew’s Gospel (the manuscript NL of the Czech Republic XVII C 20).
