Diplomová práce se zabývá cyklickou stavbou nýřanských vrstev (střední pennsylvan, moskov) v oblasti ložiska Slaný v kladensko-rakovnické pánvi. Hlavním cílem je vymezit plošně stálé cykly nýřanských vrstev a určit příčiny jejich vzniku. Na základě z vrtů sestavených korelačních schémat byla potvrzena plošná stálost 40 - 60 m mocných jednotek označovaných jako mezocykly. Celkem bylo vymezeno osm mezocyklů označovaných N0 - N7. Nově byl definován mezocyklus N7. Z map mocnosti a písčitosti mezocyklů byly odvozeny informace o rozdílech v subsidenci a distribuci klastického materiálu ve studovaném území v době sedimentace. Plošná stálost mezocyklů ukazuje, že je lze považovat za allocykly a jejich vznik souvisí s regionálním mechanismem. Pravidelnost a podobná mocnost a architektura pak naznačují, že mezocykly pravděpodobně představují záznam periodicky se opakujících událostí. Z publikovaných U-Pb CA-ID-TIMS radioisotopických stáří tonsteinů (tufů) v nýřanských vrstvách byla odhadnuta průměrná délky trvání jednotlivých mezocyklů na ~ 400 tis. let. Tato periodicita se významně blíží 413 tis. letům trvání Milankovičova cyklu dlouhé excentricity. Tento mechanismus prostřednictvím klimatických změn patrně ovlivňoval sedimentární prostředí (množství a distribuci ukládaného sedimentu v říčních systémech... This master thesis studies cyclic pattern of the Nýřany Member (Middle Pennsylvanian, Moscovian) in the Slaný coalfield situated in the Kladno-Rakovník Basin. The main objective is to identify laterally persistent cycles and to find out their possible origin. Set of cross-sections constructed from boreholes proved lateral stability of 40 - 60 m thick units called the mesocycles. In all, eight mesocycles were identified (N0 - N7), of which the mesocycle N7 was newly defined. Maps of thickness and sand content constructed for each mesocycle provided additional information on subsidence rate and distribution of clastic sediments by fluvial processes. Lateral stability of the mesocycles suggests their allocyclic character and regionally operating mechanism responsible for their formation. Regularity in repetition of the mesocycles as indicated by their similar thicknesses and architecture may suggest that the mechanism could be periodic, possibly of climatic origin. This hypothesis is supported by calculated mean duration of the mesocycles to be ~ 400 ky, based on previously published high-precision CA-ID-TIMS radioisotopic ages of intercalated tonsteins.
