Dizertační práce se v teoretické rovině zabývá hledáním definice řečové zdvořilosti jako jedinečného pragmatického systému, jenž je pro každé jazykové společenství specifický a který utváří u mluvčích pragmatický návyk čili abstraktní vzor pro kulturně podmíněné řečové chování, projevující se jako zdvořilý řečový habitus v časově i geograficky uzavřeném kontextu jazykového trhu. V praktické části se práce zabývá srovnáním jazykových prostředků, jež uplatňují mluvčí češtiny a španělštiny pro udržení bezpečného vztahu s adresátem za účelem uskutečnění úspěšné řečové socioekonomické směny. Práce se zaměřuje na řečovou zdvořilost, na její definici a na srovnání obou sledovaných etnolingvistických areálů primárně lingvisticky, ovšem se zřením k mnoha dalším disciplínám, především pragmatice, sociologii a kulturní antropologii. The thesis is concerned with the definition of the speech politeness as a unique pragmatic system which is specific for each language community and which creates in speakers a pragmatic habitus or an abstract model for culturally speech behavior, manifested as a polite speech norm in geographically and time-limited context of a linguistic market. In the practical part, the thesis deals with the comparison of the language devices used by Czech and Spanish speakers to maintain the safe relationship with the addressee in order to achieve a successful socio-economic exchange. The study focuses on speech courtesy on one hand and comparison of two ethnolinguistic areas from the point of view of linguistics, pragmatics, sociology and cultural anthropology.
