Cílem této diplomové práce je identifikování a určení míry projevu čtyř typů selhání dle teorie selhání OOS L. M. Salamona v českých servisních OOS a to pomocí studia vývoje konkrétní organizace se zaměřením na výskyt a dynamiku těchto selhání. Práce je případovou studií spolku Naděje, působícího v oblasti poskytování především sociálních služeb napříč mnoha kraji České republiky. Organizace je zkoumána pomocí předem definovaných indikátorů, které byly zvoleny pro každý typ selhávání OOS. Těmi je filantropická nedostatečnost, filantropický partikularismus, filantropický paternalismus a filantropický amatérismus. Práce se skládá celkem z pěti částí. V teoretické části jsou představeny klíčové pojmy a teorie pro tuto práci, kterými jsou základní definice OS, teorie selhání státu a trhu, role OS a stručná charakteristika servisních OOS. V neposlední řadě jsou zde popsány čtyři typy selhání dle Salamona. V další části je představena metodologie výzkumu, pro který byla zvolena případová studie jedné servisní OOS, a výzkumné indikátory. Empirická část již obsahuje samotný výzkum, pomocí kterého je analyzována dynamika vývoje zkoumané organizace od jejího vzniku až po současnost a to z pohledu čtyř typů selhání OOS a zvolených indikátorů. V závěru práce je stručné shrnutí všech zjištění a zhodnocení... The goal of this paper is to identify four types of voluntary failure by L. M. Salamone in Czech public-serving non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and to determine extend of their display by studying of the development of one particular organization and presence and dynamics of these failures. The paper is a case study of the NGO spolek Naděje which mostly works in the field of social services across the area of the Czech Republic. This organization is examined by predefined indicators which were chosen for all four types of voluntary failure. These are philanthropic insufficiency, philanthropic particularism, philanthropic paternalism and philanthropic amateurism. The paper consists of five parts. The theoretical part introduces the key concepts and theories for this paper, fundamental definitions of the civil sector, theory of the state and market failure, a role of the civil sector and brief characteristics of public-serving NGO's. Last but not least there are described four types of voluntary failure of Salamone. The next part presents the methodology of the study for which it was chosen strategy of the research, i.e. case study of one public-serving NGO, and research indicators.
