Tato práce si klade za cíl představit jeden z významných archeologických nálezů, ostraka ze Samaří, ve světle náboženského života v severním Izraeli. Práce stručně seznamuje s náboženským světem izraelského okolí: Egyptem, Mezopotámií a Kanaánem. A poté i s náboženskou situací v Izraeli samotném. Hlavní těžiště této práce se týká ostrak ze Samaří. V příloze lze najít přehledně zpracovanou tabulku, která obsahuje všech 63 přehledně zaznamenaných ostrak, na nichž nalezneme rok vlády neznámého krále, jména příjemců a odesílatelů, území, z něhož je zásilka posílána, město, z něhož je zásilka posílána a druh zboží. Důraz je položen zejména na jména příjemců a odesílatelů, která lze na ostrakách najít. Tato jména jsou pak porovnána s náboženskou situací v Izraeli v době 8. století př. n. l., tedy přibližné z doby, do které je vznik ostrak datován. Závěrečné kapitoly se snaží doplnit celkový obraz, který je v hlavní části práce nastíněn. (Teorie datace, nálezy v Kuntillet Adždut, Býk ve Starém Orientu). Práce se snaží hledat možné paralely mezi biblickým textem, texty historickými, archeologickými nálezy a ostraky samotnými. Ze závěru práce vyplývá, že užívání teoforního prvku-baal, který najdeme ve jménech, která známe z ostrak v Samaří, je důkazem, že v Izraeli v 8. století př. n. l. došlo k synkretismu... This thesis deals with the ostraca from Samaria, one of the most significant archeological discovery from the point of view of religious life in northern Israel. The thesis briefly introduces the religious world of Israel Region (Egypt, Mesopotamia and Canaan) and of Israel itself. The main focus of this thesis relates to the Samaria ostraca and the main emphasis is placed on the names of recipients and owners that can be found in ostraca trees which are consequently compared to the religious situation in Israel during 8th century BC (the approximate period to which the formation of ostraca are dated). Final chapters try to complete the main purpose which is outlined in the main part of the thesis (Dating of ostraca, Kuntillet Adžrud, Bull in Old Orient). It tries to seek for possible parallels between biblical and historical texts, archeological discoveries and the ostraca themselves. In the Annex can be found tables from years 9, 10 and 15 which contains number of ostrakon, names of owners and recipicients. In conclusion of the thesis is talking about polytheism in northern Israel at 8th century BC.
