Cílem diplomové práce je analýza inovací legislativy za posledních 10 let a jejich pozitivní či negativní vliv na práci ředitele v mateřské škole. Diplomová práce se v teoretické části zabývá managementem preprimárního vzdělávání v letech 2007-2017 očima ředitelů mateřských škol. V práci je popsán management, role ředitele mateřské školy, základní školská legislativa ČR, kompetence ředitele mateřské školy, vzdělávací politika. Praktická část zaměřená na výzkum změn v legislativě od roku 2007-2017 očima ředitelů mateřských škol a dále na management v preprimárním vzdělání po dobu 10 let z pohledu ředitelů mateřských škol.
